Cousins! A woman in Brooklyn, New York is currently mourning the devastating loss of her husband after he was tragically gunned down over the weekend!

Kaisha George described her husband Peter George as being a people pleaser; she explains that she often worried for his safety while begging him to stay home. “I just didn’t want anything bad to happen to him. I used to beg him to stay home: ‘Just stay home. You don’t have to be out there. Just stay home.’”

According to reports from the N.Y Daily News, Peter was shot in his chest along E. 51st near Linden Blvd. shortly after 7 p.m over the weekend by a gunman from a vehicle. He was immediately rushed to Brookdale hospital. Sadly, Peter was pronounced dead on arrival.

Kaisha says that he got caught up with the wrong crowd. “I always wanted what was good for Peter, but outside influence is a whole different ball game. Even if you’re married, this is what I never had control over. It’s just crazy.”

Kaisha shares that the two had gotten married last Summer in August but had been living apart at the time of his passing due to marital issues. “We had issues as a couple, but we always have a love for each other,” she said to the Daily News. “This was just crazy. He was just in bad company.”

Kaisha says that she picked up on different instances that he was nearing danger following certain conversations. “I always worried about him. Every time he leaves and he goes outside I just worried,” she said.

The widow says that Peter was a loving person that had a rough upbringing as a child. “He just did not get the love that he needed at a very young age,” said Kaisha.

” So me, I came into his life and with him explaining everything to me, I always showed him the positive in everything.”

Kaisha says she learned of Peter’s death from her sister as the incident was marked on the Citizen’s app. There have been no arrests made at this time, please stick with us for further updates.
