Another Travis Scott show has descended into violence. On Tuesday, as fans were waiting for the “UTOPIA” rapper to take the stage at Eden Park in Aukland, New Zealand, fights broke out among the crowd of nearly 50,000 people.
Multiple videos shared to social media show teenagers gathering around as a pair of people fight, throwing a barrage of punches and kicks. But nobody in the crowd stopped them, people just watched, and many even cheared.
It’s as if they started their own fight club in the middle of the venue.

Just last month, as he was performing in Melbourne, Australia, videos shared to social media show fans attempting to fight their way past security in order to get into the venue. One video shows a fan being “fly-kicked” by a security guard while they were trying to get over a barricade.
Incidents like these have become commonplace at live shows for the Houston rapper over the years. While he’s never directly involved in the chaos, his shows are infamously dangerous as he encourages his fans to “rage” and “mosh” as much as possible while he’s performing.
The most tragic example of this occurred during his Astroworld Festival in November 2021.
On the first day of his annual festival, while he was performing on stage, the crowd began to compress toward the front of the stage to get closer to Scott. As a result, a fatal crowd crush occurred that caused multiple injuries and deaths.
During the show, due to the pressure from the crowd, 10 victims had all of the air squeezed out of their lungs which caused them to pass out and eventually die. While there were many other factors that led to the deaths of those victims, many put blame on Scott for not taking notice of what was happening during his performance.
