Disney Channel just dropped the trailer for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place! It looks like we’re in for a magical time with lots of laughs and family drama. Can’t wait to see it!
David Henrie is back as Justin Russo, and he’s bringing the magic with him! Joining him is new cast member Janice LeAnn Brown, and there’s a special surprise: Selena Gomez, the show’s executive producer, is making a guest appearance
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is back! Years after the original show, Justin Russo is living the normal life he always wanted. Married, with kids, and far from his wizarding days. But when his sister Alex shows up with a new wizard-in-training, Billie, Justin’s quiet world gets turned upside down. Can he resist the pull of magic and help Alex and Billie navigate the magical world?
Justin’s back, and he’s got his hands full. He’s mentoring a young wizard, protecting the magical realm, and trying to remember how to cast a decent spell. It’s a wild ride filled with laughs and magic.
Henrie and Brown are back with a bang! They’re teaming up with some amazing actors like Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Taylor Cora, and Mimi Gianopulos. And guess what? Selena Gomez, who played Alex Russo in the original show, is going to be in the first episode!
The show has a pretty impressive team behind it. Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, along with experienced producer Gary Marsh, are the brains behind the writing and executive producing. Plus, you’ve got Jonas Agin, Selena Gomez, and David Henrie also lending a hand as executive producers. And Andy Fickman, who’s directed several episodes, including the pilot, brings his own unique touch to the show
Fans won’t have to wait much longer to dive into the new magical adventure. Wizards Beyond Waverly Place premieres with two back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 8:00 p.m. EDT on Disney Channel. The first nine episodes will be available on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand the next day, Wednesday, Oct. 30.
To celebrate the series launch, Disney+ is offering a special Blockbuster Deal. New and returning subscribers can sign up for Disney+ Basic for just $1.99/month for three months through Sept. 27. Visit www.disneyplus.com for more details on the offer.
