Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are the heart of Black education. There are 107 HBCUs across the country, and though they only make up three percent of colleges nationwide, HBCUs graduate nearly 50 percent of Black teachers, 70 percent of Black doctors and dentists; and 80 percent of Black lawyers, according to the U.S. Department of Education. – Phenix S Halley Read More
