By greatbritton

Yo, anime fans! The awesome news is here – Season 2 of “Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc” is officially hitting our screens in January 2025!

Remember that epic clash between the Seigi/Akuma Chojin and those crazy Perfect Large Numbers at the Tottori Sand Dunes? Season 2 is gonna take things to the next level!

This season dives deeper into the legendary “Kinnikuman” franchise, originally created by the tag-team Yudetamago (Takashi Shimada and Yoshinori Nakai). The original manga was a monster hit back in 1979, selling over 77 million copies – that’s a whole lotta wrestling love!

Production I.G is flexing their animation muscles for the “Perfect Origin Arc” anime. The crew is top-notch, with Akira Sato directing, Makoto Fukami handling the series composition, Hirotaka Marufuji designing the characters, and Yasuharu Takanashi pumping up the soundtrack.

Mamoru Miyano is back to voice our favorite muscle-bound hero, Kinnikuman, and Akira Kamiya is reprising his roles as Kinniku Mayumi and Prince Kamehame. The opening theme is a collab between Yasuharu Takanashi and the rock band FLOW, guaranteed to get you hyped. Mamoru Miyano even sings the ending theme AND the theme song for the special Episode 0 – that’s some serious dedication!

Calling all Kinnikuman trivia nerds! There’s still time to enter Part 2 of the Quick Quiz Giveaway Campaign on MyAnimeList. It runs until October 3rd, so head over here and test your knowledge! You could win some seriously cool prizes, like a script signed by Mamoru Miyano himself or a limited edition Kinnikuman T-shirt.

Get ready to rumble, Chojin fans! We’ll keep you posted on all the juicy details as Season 2 approaches. 2025 can’t come soon enough for more epic battles in the Tottori Sand Dunes!
