In a new lawsuit against Kanye West, the “Vultures” rapper is accused of creating a hostile work environment for YZY employees working on his app that would help promote his music. In addition, West’s wife Bianca Censori is also accused of sending out porn to staff which were allegedly accessible by minors in that same lawsuit.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the suit was filed in a U.S. District Court. West and his former chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, were named as defendants. Censori was not listed as a defendant. The disturbing document says that West and Yiannopoulous engaged in “forced labor and cruel inhuman, or degrading treatment.”
In addition, they are also accused of lying about paying their adult and minor employees, though they were forced to work extremely long hours. The employees were also allegedly called “new slaves” by Yiannopoulos. Censori is accused of sending a link to one of the employees to watch “hardcore” porn after West announced the launch of Yeezy Porn earlier this year.
The lawsuit alleges that some of the staff who could access the link were as young as 14. “No guardrails were put in place to prevent the underage YZYVSN workers from working on Yeezy Porn, or to prevent them from being exposed to and being forced to view pornography to perform their work,” the lawsuit says.
Yiannopoulos said on Sunday (June 30) that the lawsuit a “joke” and a “sad race hustle.” “I’ll eviscerate the complaint line by line tomorrow on camera, including his bonkers racism claims. Truly, it’s the most dishonest thing I’ve ever seen filed with a court. (And I’ve worked for billionaires and megastars for a decade.),” he quipped.
In June, West was sued by his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta for sexual harassment and wrongful termination. West and his attorney denied her claims. The employees in the latest lawsuit are seeking payment for unpaid wages, lawyer fees and damages for emotional distress.
