Located in Hattiesburg, MS, Twin Forks Rising is a community that is yet to recover from Hurricane Katrina, a major 2013 tornado, another 2017 storm and various incidents of flooding. Twin Forks Rising Community Development Corporation (CDC) has a goal of raising $5 million over three years to address the critical needs of its underserved populations. It has engaged in many off-line fundraising activities, not the least of which includes applying for government and private foundation grants.
