Overview

We need your help to grow and strengthen our community! We are a small, largely volunteer-run non-profit society and this year we’re looking for some help to keep the staffed, expand our reach and serve our community even better going into the next year.

We have begun work to restore a community library. It will truly be a nice addition to our neighborhood and city of Laurel, TN. Our smokey mountain nestled homes have no access to a local library. But we do have grit and heart. With that and a desire to educate furture residents, this project has enough energy to gas us to the finish line. Join us! Please help us!

What we need help with:

Our staff: For the past year we have been lucky to have an amazing part-time employee! We are seeking funding to keep the ever-knowledgeable Tristan, whom many of you have come to know and love, employed with us beyond the end of his current contract! This funding would ensure we can stay open on Wednesday nights and possibly allow us to open on even more days of the week.

Enhanced customer experience: Donating to our cause will help us make upgrades to our space, maintain our equipment and acquire even more tools for our library to better serve our members and sponsors.

Getting the word out there: We want everyone in Edmonton to know about us! Tool libraries help reduce the impact on our environment and give inclusive access to equipment that many people could otherwise not afford. Your donation can help us advertise, pop up at markets and even develop a mobile-lending library!

Even small donations go a long way to helping us get out there and provide low-cost access to home and garden tools for Edmontonians!
