Summer Walker is breaking her silence following trending reports that she and her man Rico Recklezz have parted ways!

In a post to her Instagram story early Friday morning (May 9th) Summer addressed breakup rumors.

“Yes I’m single but don’t be weird now yall. I can’t even think about fuckin w another man.”

She went on to explain, “I love Rico he really is a sweet man when he wants to be… that’s my Pumkin for life, things just didn’t align how we wanted cause we from two different worlds. Let’s move on now n not create false narratives.”

In another post the singer declared that she is taking a much-needed break from dating.

“I’m literally honestly & truly over men like that’s it for me, I find more peace in being alone, but let’s normalize moving on with out mess. No disrepect. No hard feelings. No bad mouthing each other. Everything copestetic on my end, it’s all lessons n love

As we previously reported, Summer and Rico first went public with their union back in 2024 and have since shared glimpses of their chemistry online with photos from vacations and dare nights.

Whether things ended on a positive solid or rocky note, Summer wants fans to know: everything doesn’t want any false narratives to circulate.
