Another day, another wild Tyrese Gibson update — only this time, it’s even more incredulous and ridiculous. We’ll explain.

Even though the “Beautiful Pain” singer said he was retiring from social media back in September, it’s clear he didn’t mean it because he’s been posting video after video ever since. But it’s his latest one posted to his Instagram on Monday that has people truly scratching their heads as he went on to refute recent internet claims that he’s a part of the Illuminati and a devil worshipper.

How all of this even became a thing is unclear. But speculation or not, Gibson isn’t standing for it.

“I, Tyrese Gibson am a firm believer, follower and worshipper of the Lord Jesus Christ,” he began in the over 30 minute long video before going on to say he’s one of the few people in Hollywood who regularly and openly talk about his faith and love for Jesus.

“I have never and will never be a part of anything dark or demonic or any type of secret world or secret society or Illuminati or whatever the fuck they’re saying or talking about.

He then changed the subject to address additional online rumors that alleged that he’s gay and a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, making it abundantly clear that he isn’t but that people should do what makes them happy.

“I’m not part of a secret gay or a public gay[community],” he said, before later adding: “I tell people all the time, how can you be mad at somebody who’s actually doing what makes them happy? Live your life. That’s not who I chose to be with and that’s not who I chose to love but live your life and do what makes you happy. That’s what I’m on.”

Elsewhere in the video, Gibson debunked TikTok rumors that he sacrificed some of his family for success in Hollywood, defended a recent trip he took to the Middle East months ago, and further asserted that he wasn’t gay and how much of lover and believer in Jesus Christ he was.

While the video is definitely all over the place, it’s good to hear him not taking shots at the mothers of his children for a change. Hopefully he can start lessening the posts and opt against responding to false internet chatter moving forward, too.
