The civil lawsuit accusing former NFL star and media personality Shannon Sharpe of sexual assault took an unexpected turn this week when the accuser’s legal team failed to appear at a scheduled hearing in Las Vegas—leaving Judge Anna Albertson visibly frustrated and forcing a delay in the case’s timeline .
