Amanda Seales Shuts Down Claims Kamala Harris Would’ve Handled Iran Peacefully, “Think Again” – NoirOnlineOrg

[ad_1]

AmandaSeales isn’t holding back—again.

In a passionate video circulating online, the outspoken media personality addressed recent U.S. airstrikes ordered by former President Donald Trump on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities—and the viral speculation that if Vice President Kamala Harris were in office, the attacks would’ve never happened.

Seales? She’s not buying it.

“I don’t even understand how you can make such a statement,” Amanda said, addressing claims that Harris would’ve brought a softer, more peaceful approach.

Seales went deeper—breaking down what she sees as misguided romanticism of Kamala Harris’s political image.

“What is it about this woman that she has shown you that makes you think that she is like some peaceful ‘namaste’ auntie?” she continued.
“She’s taken photos with cops, she’s married to a zionist… she said, ‘I’m going to be just like Joe Biden.’”

And that was just the beginning.

This isn’t the first time Amanda’s ruffled feathers while demanding accountability. The Smart Funny & Black creator has long championed deeper political conversations—urging Black voters not to let symbolism replace substance.

She’s challenged both Democratic and Republican figures, making it clear that party affiliation doesn’t equal progress.

Of course, her commentary lit up timelines:

  • “Amanda is the only one with the guts to say what others won’t.”
  • “This ain’t it. You can’t uplift us by tearing Black women down.”
  • “Her critiques are rooted in facts, not vibes.”

As tensions flare internationally and the 2025 election season kicks off, Amanda Seales is reminding Black America to stop idolizing politicians and start studying their policies, histories, and alliances.

Her stance? Don’t assume peace from politicians—especially not ones aligned with militarized or imperialist systems.

As we previously reported Donald Trump took to Truth Social today to confirm that U.S. forces launched attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran last week. According to Trump, all planes involved have exited Iranian airspace safely.
The strikes came without Congressional approval.

🗣️ Noir Nation, what do YOU think? Is Amanda right to question Kamala’s “peaceful” perception—or is the critique doing too much?

Internet Reacts to Diddy’s Daughters in Tears While Leaving His Trial

[ad_1]

As the final days of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial wrap up, eyes were focused on his children, who have largely been right behind him as he continues to fight for his life. But after the prosecution’s four-hour closing arguments, it seems Diddy’s three daughters are finally being hit with the reality of the situation.

3 Ways to Think Like a Businessman, According to Executive Walter Davis

Chance, D’Lila and Jessie Combs were spotted walking hand in hand out of the New York City court– where their father is facing racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution charges– on Thursday (June 27). Shockingly, one of the twins became very emotional, even wiping tears from her eyes as fans, paparazzi and critics yelled at them from the crowd gathered outside the court.

Video of the three teens soon circulated the internet, and just as folks continue to share their thoughts on the entire trial, the Combs girls were also subjected to the public’s court of opinions. “I feel bad for them but Cassie is someone’s daughter also,” @jennr778 wrote on TikTok.

Another user, @suburbanblackgirl94, said, “That man moved like he didn’t have any children and thought he was untouchable.” But although some people expressed their sympathies for the 18-year-olds, others felt no remorse.

All of Diddy’s kids were present to hear the prosecution’s closing statements. “Im not sad, as hard as it is, they NEED to see him as he is,” @gladyscuevass commented. @ellaandtara3 added “those are adult[s] not kids.”

While their older brothers, Justin, Christian and Quincy have been present every single day of Diddy’s trial, the three girls have limited their appearances. On X, folks like @elevenelevenst asked, “Isn’t that child abuse?” He continued, “I would never allow my children to watch a trial like that even if I were completely innocent.”

@CutTheBS84 tweeted, “Yeaaaaa, those girls will never be without a team of therapist[s] for the rest of their lives.” Once closing arguments ended on Thursday, Diddy turned around and blew his children a kiss.

Many folks criticized the adults around the teenagers for even allowing them to witness the trial in the first place. “No amount of PR is worth exposing them to the trauma from the details shared in that courtroom,” @Zanndee said. “I honestly feel for them.”

“No wonder they’re upset,” @Teri423 wrote. “They should have never been there in the first place listening to all of that today I’m a grown ass woman and it was horrific!”

Another user, @MarcelsNirvana, added Diddy should’ve stopped them from coming. “Why hasn’t he told his daughters ‘I love your support, but please don’t come.’ It’s that simple. He still gets phone calls,” he wrote.

On Friday (June 27), Diddy’s legal team began their closing arguments. After that, the prosecution has a chance to rebuttal before the jury is released for deliberation.

Jasmine Crockett pulls back from helping Democratic Party after some claimed she’s ‘not a team player’

[ad_1]

U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett feels some way after recently opening up about her failed bid for committee leadership in the House of Representatives.

On Monday, the popular Texas congresswoman pulled her name out of the running to serve as the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform after she came in last place in a preliminary caucus vote.

During a recent wide-ranging interview with theGrio, Crockett shared that she is having second thoughts about the time and energy she put into supporting Democrats in Congress following discussions about her candidacy for higher leadership in the caucus.

“I really gave a lot to the caucus, a lot of my time, a lot of my energy, as well as my treasure,” said Crockett, who on Monday, implied that she would take a backseat like the 92% of Black women within the Democratic Party who were left disillusioned after the 2024 presidential election loss of former Vice President Kamala Harris.

When asked to elaborate about whether she felt frustrated as a Black woman seeking a leadership role within the Democratic Party, Crockett told theGrio, “There’s absolutely a frustration as a Black woman in America in general, but, yeah, I mean, I won’t deny that.”

Her disappointment with her party stems from communications behind closed doors while debating her candidacy for the Oversight ranking member position. The powerful role would’ve made Crockett the top Democrat on a committee that is the main investigative body of the House.

“It was frustrating to hear over and over that I wasn’t a team player,” said Crockett, who had highlighted her fundraising prowess–which included raising more than $4 million for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee–and her attendance of more than 100 events as a surrogate for the party in the 2024 election.

“One of the reasons that I laid out how much money I raised, how many trips I’d taken, how much money I’d given, is because, in my mind, I was the biggest team player,” Crockett told theGrio. “And so for me, if that’s not, you know, going hard for the team, then, honestly, I have some figuring out to do as relates to, how is it that I can get a caucus that believes that I’m down for them.”

The Democratic Party star, who boasts millions of followers on social media and is a mainstay on cable TV news, said that, based on the feedback she received from her colleagues, “I will not be doing as much of what I did, because that obviously was not read as looking out for the team.”

Crockett said she will instead put her attention outside Capitol Hill and more on grassroots work around the country, particularly at Black churches. She named well-known ministers and civil rights activists like Revs. Al Sharpton, Jamal Bryant, and William Barber who have served as a “rock” and “foundation” for “mobilization and education” in Black communities.

Brandy and Monica reveal what inspired hit song ‘The Boy Is Mine’

“I would rather go and do more of my labor in fields of love, where they are begging me to be. And really, you know, it’s still enormous to the benefit of the party,” said Crockett, who emphasized, “I’m not going to stop working. I’m just going to shift my focus.”

Crockett said, most importantly, she needs to turn her attention back to her district and the state of Texas.

“I spent so much time on the road for others, and frankly, my district and my state have been begging for more time with me,” she shared. “We’ve got some big elections taking place in my state. I’m gonna labor again in a place that is begging for me, versus going everywhere else.”

But that doesn’t mean you won’t be seeing Crockett on national stages. She shared that she will make appearances for the National Bar Association, NAACP, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (of which she is a member), and various other organizations.

“But as far as specific member events, that will be less for sure…I’mma focus on home right now,” said Crockett.

Joycelyn Savage’s Parents Aren’t Buying New Video Caliming She’s Still With R Kelly —-Says It’s AI Generated! – NoirOnlineOrg

[ad_1]

PHOTO : GETTY IMAGES

The internet is buzzing once again around Joycelyn Savage—but her parents are calling cap, and this time, they’re blaming AI.

A newly surfaced video has gone viral online showing Joycelyn Savage, longtime girlfriend of R. Kelly, smiling and directly addressing the camera. In the clip, she firmly defends her relationship with the disgraced R&B singer—who is currently serving a 30-year sentence for federal sex trafficking and child exploitation charges.

“I’ve been with Robert for 10 years. He has been incarcerated for six years, and I have seen him every weekend for the past six years,” Joycelyn says.

She also shuts down the idea that she’s being controlled or manipulated.

“I am not held against my will. I am not a sex slave. I am not brainwashed or any of those crazy lies that were told on me,” she continues.
“Please do not believe the lies that my mother and father are coming out here saying about me and Robert.”

But Joycelyn’s family? They aren’t buying it—and now they’re accusing artificial intelligence of being used to generate a fake version of their daughter.

In a recent interview, her mother spoke out emotionally, saying it’s been six years since they’ve seen Joycelyn in person—and this video only deepens their concern.

“The video did bring some concerns because it appears that the video was AI-generated,” her mother said.
“There are inconsistencies. It doesn’t feel authentic. It confirms why we’ve been fighting so hard just to make sure she’s okay.”

She added that the family simply wants proof of life and wellness, not drama or clout.

The resurfacing of Joycelyn’s video has now triggered a new wave of debate across social media. Is it really her? Could the video have been edited or even artificially generated? And if it is her—why has she remained so isolated from her family for nearly a decade?

Joycelyn Savage has been one of the most prominent figures tied to R. Kelly’s controversial legacy. Over the years, she has repeatedly defended him—often in contradiction to her family’s public pleas for contact, wellness checks, and freedom from what they describe as “mental and emotional bondage.”

Whether this latest video marks closure—or just more confusion—remains to be seen.

Noir Nation, do y’all believe that was really Joycelyn—or are her parents right to question it? 🧠💭

Why Is the Internet Obsessed With Ash Kash’s Stomach Scar? – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

Ash Kash just posted a bombshell photo showing off her body, as she does, and yes, it ate. But leave it to the internet to zoom in, screenshot, and suddenly spiral into a scar conspiracy theory over the tiniest detail. That’s right: the girlies (and the trolls) noticed a visible scar on her stomach, and they have not shut up since.

The post, which racked up over 8 million views on X, has become a viral moment and a lesson in how people will literally comment on anything if you’re hot and famous.

Let’s break it down, shall we?

The Picture That Started It All

Ash Kash, the influencer, model, beauty entrepreneur and baddie, uploaded a photo that had her followers gagging over her figure, but it didn’t take long for the convo to shift. Not about her hair. Not about her flawless face. Not even about her snatched waist. Nope. It was all about a small scar on her stomach that had people asking questions like it was a Reddit AMA.

Social Media’s Unfiltered Reactions

Some comments were curious. Others? Just plain rude.

  • “whats that scar?”

  • “why does her stomach look like that?”

  • “Want to share about that scar you have on your stomach?”
→ To which Ash Kash responded with a simple: “lol”

(Legendary. Iconic. Like yes, laugh at them.)

But it didn’t stop there. The commentary got even more chaotic:

  • “Stomach looks like some balled up homework”

  • “C-section stomach? wtf is going on there?”

  • “Wtf ?????”

  • “Nah that scar is actually attractive idk what y’all are talking about lol”

Let’s pause right there, shout out to that last user. A real one. Someone finally said it: scars are sexy, mysterious, and part of life. Period.

Ash Kash Responds… Again

After a few hours of the internet spiraling, Ash Kash logged back in to remind everyone to touch grass and get a grip. In a separate tweet, she wrote:

“The way y’all acting over a scar is mind boggling…”

And she’s right. Imagine getting pressed over someone else’s skin. Imagine having nothing better to do than speculate over a scar on a woman’s body that doesn’t even concern you. Could never be me.

Halle Berry’s New Post Sparks Hilarious Britney Spears Comparison

[ad_1]

Halle Berry‘s chronically online behavior has given fans a glimpse of her unfiltered lifestyle and her latest post is just further proof of that. And judging by the comments, it may be one of her funniest ones yet.

Video will return here when scrolled back into view

3 Ways to Think Like a Businessman, According to Executive Walter Davis

As we previously told you, she sent the internet in a tizzy back in May when she posted a now-viral video of her and boyfriend Van Hunt laying in bed back on Mother’s Day. In it, the “John Wick” star commemorated the end of the holiday by telling them that she and Hunt were about to engage in some sexual relations.

Now, she and Hunt are back at it again with another video as evidenced by a post she made on Thursday (June 26). In it, the Oscar-winning actress can be seen dancing around to Hunt’s new album in nothing but a bikini swimsuit before giving viewers a surprise treat of sorts at the end.

“When your man’s music is so good you just can’t help yourself!” she captioned in the post.

Once the video made the rounds on social media, many hopped in the comments to express their joy over seeing Berry be so unapologetically in love and wishing they could feel as free to post as she does.

“When you grown, don’t give a dam [sic] about no one but peace, love and happiness! I love love this,” wrote one user on Instagram.

“I hope to be this level of IDGAF when I’m in my 60’s. Lord. That’s why I’m working so hard now,” said another.

“oh look at me I’m Van Hunt I’m musically talented, have a great collection of hats, and Halle Berry is in love with me please close the curtains we are jealous your love is beautiful ENUFF,” wrote one other user over on X/Twitter.

However, some who took it upon themselves to draw a hilarious parallel between Berry and yet another celebrity who regularly dances around her house while often scantily-clad: Britney Spears.

The former child star became known for her sometimes bizarre dances in her bra and underwear over the past few years. It’s a trend that’s often caused her to be the subject of online ridicule and sometimes backlash. But, given Berry’s moves and similar style of dress, her own fans couldn’t help but poke fun at her.

“Somebody said “Brittany Berry,” one user wrote in part.

Added another, “Britney Spears got 24 hours to respond.”

“This is giving Britney Spears minus the knives,” one other user said.

Another user commented: “Halle, your slowly turning into Britney.”

What do you think? Is Halle really channeling Britney or just grooving and in love?

Nelly refutes narrative that he’s ‘Pro-Trump’ because he performed at President Trump’s inauguration

[ad_1]

According to Nelly, when he accepted the invitation to perform during President Trump’s Inaugural events in January, he was not endorsing Trump or his administration.

During an appearance this week on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning” podcast with his wife Ashanti to promote their brand new reality TV series on Peacock, “Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together,” the 50-year-old rapper addressed the controversy surrounding his Inaugural Liberty Ball performance.

When co-host Ebro Darden asked if Nelly was still on his “pro-Donald Trump stance, the “Little Bit” performer was quick to correct him.

“See, this is what I’m saying. Where did you get pro-Donald?” he said. “What you had was ‘respect for office.’”

He added, “And it’s great how people spin narratives to things that I think best fit whatever they’re against. You know what I’m saying? Instead of giving a brother the exact fundamental of what he did, what he said. Nobody’s doing that anymore.”

Nelly made headlines in January when it was announced that he would perform at President Donald Trump’s Liberty Ball. The St. Louis rapper responded to the backlash partly by saying he was doing so because he had “respect” for the office.

‘I don’t care’: Ashanti and Nelly speak on protecting their love from public opinion

“I’m not doing this for money, I’m doing this because it’s an honor. I respect the office. It doesn’t matter who is in office,” he said then. “The same way that our men and women, our brothers and sisters who protect this country, have to go to war and have to put their life on the line for whoever in office. So if they can put their life on the line for whoever in office, I can damn sure perform.”

While on “Ebro in the Morning,” he echoed those same sentiments and further defended the move by noting that he hasn’t endorsed a president ever. He pointed out that the year before, he performed at an event with Kamala Harris and noticed that it didn’t raise any eyebrows.

“At that time, nobody ever brought it up,” he said.

When another host noted that it wouldn’t have been clickbait, Nelly agreed and pointed out that Darden’s way of asking him the question was even clickbait-y.

“It’s like ‘yo Nelly, your political stance’ … I don’t think I said that. I think I said I have respect for the office and whoever is in office,” he recalled.

“It was truly an honor, because ain’t nan other president ever asked me to do anything,” he continued. “It doesn’t mean you agree with how that president… I never endorsed any president. I’ve never done that a day in my life. What I did say is that I’m a military brat. I love our men and women that service this country. I’ve done things all around this country. I’ve entertained the troops. Nobody brings that up. I’ve stayed man, you know, a commitment in my community, and I have a beautiful black family.”

Nia DaCosta’s HEDDA to Premiere at TIFF Before Streaming on Prime Video – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

If you’re as movie-addicted as I am, with pearl-clutching for period dramas and sleepless nights over A24 teaser promos, then clear your schedule and drain your emotional warehouse. Nia DaCosta’s HEDDA, the incendiary modern adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler, premieres at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). And trust us, it’s coming for your throat.

After TIFF, the emotional quake hits Prime Video worldwide on October 29, 2025, in time for a psychologically chilling Halloween.

HEDDA is not a film. It’s a state of mind. It’s a silk malfunction. It’s women’s fury encased in designer stilettos and ready to blow. And darling, it’s going to be fabulous.

The Mastermind of Nia DaCosta

You might know DaCosta from Candyman (2021) or as the first Black woman to direct a Marvel movie (The Marvels). With HEDDA, DaCosta is making history. She’s writing, directing, and producing, and she’s bringing Ibsen’s 1891 play back down to electrifying contemporaneity and unstoppable sensuality.

This is not your high school English class’s Hedda Gabler. This is a woman hemmed in by the most cinematic possible means.

Tessa Thompson as Hedda? Inject It.

We can leave it at that and applaud the cast to their feet because Tessa Thompson is Hedda. That’s all. That’s the news.

Thompson, also the director, is a depth-feeling actress. Despite Sylvie‘s Love for Passing, she’s been built for an acting role like that. In HEDDA, she’s described as having a raw, feverish, downright enchanting performance. Hedda, as played by Tessa, is a woman suffocating beneath suffocating social conformity and gendered constraint, dressing herself in elegance as a disguise until she no longer does, from early word about individuals involved in the play.

She’s ably supported and encouraged by a cast who are literally glowing on paper.

  • Imogen Poots is a catastrophe at all times in the best way
  • Tom Bateman, whose cheekbones will need to have their own agent
  • Nicholas Pinnock, with brooding screen intensity
  • Nina Hoss, the German force of nature, you saw blow your mind in TÁR

One Night. All the Drama.

Devouring an entire long, lingerable night, HEDDA is full of that slow-build-key tension we snack on like gourmet popcorn. Bottled-up passion? Check. Old flame rekindled to burn again everywhere? Check. Mind games, manipulation, and women on the brink? Triple check.

The trailer for “A Whirlpool of Manipulation, Passion, and Betrayal” has my shrink prepped with the Kleenex, ahead of time.

Behind the Velvet Curtain: The Creative Dream Team

If you’re a true cinephile, you already know a movie’s as iconic as its department heads are. And HEDDA’s got creds.

Score by Hildur Guðnadóttir (Joker, Chernobyl) has you feeling every string section personally like it’s an insult.

Cinematography by Sean Bobbitt, BSC (12 Years a Slave, Widows) promises shadows, close-ups, and emotional destruction.

Cutting by Jacob Schulsinger (The Worst Person in the World) promises no beat will be missed.

Cara Brower’s Production Design (The Menu) is recreated into the interiors, more lavish than Hedda herself.

Lindsay Pugh’s Costume Design (The Crown) is shouting period-present elegance, crying “rich, miserable, and emotionally fraying.”

TIFF 2025: The Perfect Launchpad

TIFF is not a film festival. It is an awards-season barometer. That HEDDA is opening there speaks volumes about one thing loudly and clearly. Amazon and Plan B can smell Oscars.

And I vow, DaCosta and Thompson walk into the Dolby Theatre next year with their names on ballot cards.

Mark Your Calendar and Your Soul

October 29, 2025. That’s when HEDDA premieres on Prime Video, and that’s when your group chat becomes a raging debate about ethics, feminism, and whether Hedda is a villain or a victim. (She’s both. That’s the point.)

Light a candle. Have a glass of red wine. Get ready to untangle.

It’s not a film. It’s an audit.

White Actress Wanted to Play Harriet Tubman in Play, Then Sues

[ad_1]

In news that can only be described as “you’ve got to be kidding me,” yet another white woman is causing unnecessary headaches at her workplace. And when we tell you how, you’re sure to scratch your head in confusion.

Video will return here when scrolled back into view

3 Ways to Think Like a Businessman, According to Executive Walter Davis

3 Ways to Think Like a Businessman, According to Executive Walter Davis

Things all stem from an actress named Annette Hubbell who puts on one-woman shows at the Rancho Santa Fe Library in San Diego. Back during Women’s History Month in 2024, she was reportedly asked to perform her show by, in which she highlights influential historical figures. The library gave her a list of women to choose from and Hubbell selected Harriet Beecher Stowe, Mary McLeod Bethune and Harriet Tubman–the latter two of which are Black women. Hubbell is white.

A few weeks before the show and after seeing her choices, the library asked her to switch out Bethune and Tubman given the obvious difference. However, Hubbell took issue with it.

“It never occurred to me that that might be an issue. I was telling their stories, bringing them alive,” she said according to KPBS.

She later described the conversation:

“I said, ‘Why?’ And she said, ‘Because it’s not appropriate for you to be doing this. You’re a white woman.’ And I said, ‘Oh, no, no, no, you don’t understand. I’m honoring these women I have so carefully researched. And she said, ‘That doesn’t matter.’ And I said, ‘You mean I’m only to perform women whose stories of bravery and courage should be told if they’re white?’ And she said, ‘That’s pretty much it.’ So I’m not getting it.”

Hubbell went on to further plead her case and cited the hit Broadway production “Hamilton” to backup her reasoning that her skin color shouldn’t matter. For context, Hamilton engaged in “color-conscious casting,”which is the intentional use of non-white actors to play traditionally white characters. It’s different from not color-blind casting which intentionally doesn’t consider the race of the person portraying the character at all.

Yet and still, Hubbell was perplexed by the decision.

“I think if people thought I was doing blackface or a parody of these people not respecting them, then that might be a cause for an objection,” she explained. “But all they have to do is read my stories and the testimonies on my website and they would see how deeply I respect and honor and admire these people.”

Regardless of her passion, the San Diego county’s diversity and inclusion panel agreed with the library that she should change women, but Hubbell stood her ground. Consequently, her show got canceled.

But if you thought that’s where the story ended, think again! In fact, it was recently revealed that Hubbell is suing with the help of the Pacific Legal Foundation in a sort of “reverse discrimination” suit.

“We want to send a clear message that the government has a duty to every individual to treat them equally and to treat them fairly,” said Hubbell’s lawyer Chris Barnewolt. “If the San Diego County government can make decisions based on race in this instance, then any county or local government could do the same. And we want to make sure that that stops here.”

As of this writing, there’s been no update to where the suit stands or if it’s been dismissed. But when we have an update, we’ll be sure to let you know because this is truly a trip!
