Mia Khalifa Drags Morgan Wallen as “For Racists” After He Brings Out Drake – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

Mia Khalifa is back in the headlines, and this time she’s dragging Morgan Wallen through the Confederate mud he came from. After the country singer brought out Drake on stage during his Houston stop, Khalifa tweeted what some are calling the most accurate read of the week:

“m*rgan w*llen is for racists, hope that helps!”

Not exactly subtle. But subtlety has never been Mia’s thing, and we love her for that.

Khalifa Said What She Said

The tweet, like everything else Mia touches, set the internet ablaze. Whether you like her or not, one thing is for certain: she’s not scared to stir the pot, even if she has to use a wooden spoon from hell’s kitchen to do it.

Of course, the backlash came swiftly and messily. The trolls were frothing at the mouth, rushing to remind Mia of her past as if we all don’t use Google.

One Twitter user tried the classic deflection:

“Right message, wrong messenger.”

Another just screamed into the void with a whole lot of misogyny and zero creativity:

“Ur a whore every one knows you as a whore nobody respects you heck you probably don’t respect ur self.”

Charming.

One dude, clearly still crying in camo, dropped this gem:

“You wished PTSD on our American soldiers. Your opinion is null and void.”

Not to be outdone, someone threw back the same snark Mia started with:

“Mia Khalifa is for the streets. Hope that helps!”

Let’s Not Pretend Morgan Wallen Is Innocent Here

For those with short-term memory loss or selective amnesia, Morgan Wallen was caught on camera casually dropping the N-word outside his Nashville home. The clip, captured by a neighbor’s doorbell cam and published by TMZ, showed the country star yelling the slur at a friend after a night out.

He issued an apology (because, of course, he did):

“I’m embarrassed and sorry… I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back.”

Cue the damage control. Album sales spiked. Fans forgave him. He cried on cue. Blah blah blah.

Drake, Sweetie… What Are You Doing?

And then there’s Drake, being paraded on stage by Wallen like a diversity coupon. Honestly, the optics are awful. If this was Morgan’s version of community service, it flopped harder than a Florida recount.

You don’t just bring out the biggest Black artist on Earth and expect everyone to forget your racist outbursts like you’re a character on Euphoria. Mia saw through it. A lot of us did. And while the Twitter mob is busy trying to slut-shame her into silence, she’s still tweeting, still talking, still calling out bullsh*t.

Black members of Congress condemn Trump’s ‘unconstitutional’ strikes in Iran, demand answers

[ad_1]

Black members of Congress swiftly condemned President Donald Trump‘s order for the U.S. military to strike Iran, potentially igniting a wider conflict in the Middle East that the U.S. has delicately tried to avoid for several years.

“Donald Trump promised to bring peace to the Middle East. He has failed to deliver that promise,” said U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., the Democratic leader in the U.S. House of Representatives. In a statement released Saturday night, Jeffries said the risk of war “dramatically increased” as a result of the president’s decision. The strike reportedly caused “severe damage” to three of its nuclear sites.

Though Trump and administration officials argue the choice to join Israel’s war against Iran was necessary to, as Trump said, “stop the nuclear threat posed by the world’s number one sponsor of terror,” Democrats remain skeptical and alarmed that the president had not briefed members of Congress nor sought their legislative power to authorize military action.

Jeffries, the first African-American party leader in Congress, demanded that Trump officials “fully and immediately” brief him and his colleagues in a “classified setting” and said, most importantly, “the Trump administration bears the heavy burden of explaining to the American people why this military action was undertaken.”

U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., who has served in Congress for more than 30 years, said she believes Trump’s airstrikes in Iran are “tantamount to a declaration of war.”

“This action by the President is typical of a president out of control. The United States at one time had an agreement with Iran, and that agreement was monitored closely. But Trump withdrew from that agreement when he took office,” said Waters, referring to a deal brokered by former President Barack Obama and other world leaders that restricted Iran’s nuclear development. President Trump withdrew from the nuclear accord during his first term.

Waters called Trump “out of control” and slammed him for going against his previous statements that he would wait two weeks to decide on whether to militarily involve the U.S. in the Israel-Iran conflict.

“This president must be stopped. I and Members of Congress must confront this issue as soon as we return to Congress. We need peaceful negotiations, not another war,” said the senior congresswoman.

U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., who said Trump’s unilateral decision was “unconstitutional and unwise,” described the U.S. attack in Iran as a “rash sequel” to Trump’s withdrawal from Obama’s nuclear deal and that it puts the nation’s military and citizens at “grave risk.”

The U.S. House assistant Democratic leader said that while preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, as the Trump administration claims, is a “noble pursuit,” he urged Congress to have “immediate details” about the military action, which the Trump administration revealed on Sunday as “Operation Midnight Hammer.” Clyburn demanded that all sides of the Middle East conflict “pull back from the brink of a full-scale war.”

U.S. Vice President JD Vance on Sunday said the U.S. was “not at war” with Iran but “at war with its nuclear program.”

“It’s really an incredible operation, a testament to the power of American military, and I think what shows what can happen when you have that great American military in the hands of capable presidential leadership,” Vance told NBC’s “Meet The Press.”

U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., said ordering military service members into battle is “the gravest of responsibilities for an American president and should never be undertaken lightly.”

The senator pointed to a larger concern among members of Congress that Trump brought the U.S. into another Middle East conflict based on the belief that Iran was building a nuclear weapon–something Trump’s director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, testified before Congress was not the case.

“[Trump] disagrees with the assessment of his own national intelligence advisers, [and] has now entered another Middle East conflict,” said Warnock. “He has not sought congressional approval and has not sufficiently explained why this operation was necessary right now.”

“This is not ‘the art of the deal,’” said Warnock, referring to Trump’s 1987 book, which has been used by Trump and his supporters to tout his business acumen and leadership credibility as president despite critics who say the contrary, pointing to Trump’s bankruptcies and questionable business practices.

Sen. Warnock said thousands of U.S. troops are now “at risk for potential retaliation” from Iran and said the American people “deserve to hear more than they’ve heard so far.” He added, “The constitution requires a much more serious engagement with their representatives.”

Dua Lipa Brings Out Charli XCX for ‘360’ at Wembley and the Pop Girls Are Eating – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

Pop girls, assemble. The divas are diva-ing.

Saturday night at Wembley Stadium was not just a concert. It was a cultural event. Dua Lipa, the reigning queen of pop discipline and disco gym-ready bangers, brought the house down during her sold-out Radical Optimism Tour stop in London. But just when the crowd thought they’d already received all their blessings? Miss Dua said surprise, and summoned Charli XCX to the stage for a gag-worthy rendition of “360.”

That’s right. Dua and Charli, two of the most experimental, influential, and unapologetically extra voices in 21st-century pop, shared the stage like it was a Girls Aloud reunion. And let’s just say every gay, girl, and glamazon within a ten-mile radius levitated.

A Stage Fit for Synth Queens

The moment was pure serotonin. Wembley roared as the synths of “360” blared and Charli XCX strutted out like she owned every LED pixel in the venue. Dua, in custom Mugler, twirled to the beat like a goddess who just crashed her own Greek myth. Charli, 32, looked like the future of cyber pop reincarnated in human form.

Together, they didn’t just perform. They served. They fed the children. They shut the internet down for the night. Stan Twitter is still wiping its tears with rhinestone-encrusted tissues.

And yes, you can (and must) watch a clip of their performance.

Two Icons, One Vision, Zero Skips

If you’re new to the Church of Charli and Dua, here’s the lore. The two have been mutual supporters for years. Their remix of Talk Talk last year wasn’t just a collaboration. It was a declaration of pop unity. Dua brings structure, sensuality, and a voice that sounds like velvet dipped in confidence. Charli brings chaos, Auto-Tune transcendence, and lyrics that hit like rollercoaster drops. Together? They’re not just besties. They’re a movement.

And behind the scenes, the love is as real as the lashes.

“I love her so much and she’s always been a really good friend of mine and been so supportive from day one,” Dua said in a new Billboard interview, giving us the kind of heartfelt girl-support-girl energy that makes Swifties cry in pastels. “She deserves all the flowers. She’s worked her arse off, and it’s so beautiful to see her get the recognition she deserves.”

And that’s on pop justice.

Dua continued, “She’s really stuck to her guns and allowed herself to be creative in her own way, and it’s paid off. That’s the best thing that can ever happen to an artist. She’s so deserving of every moment.”

Excuse us while we gently sob into our rhinestone flasks.

The Pop Renaissance Is Female

Let’s be honest. Male pop stars haven’t dropped a culture-shifting collab since Rihanna stopped replying to their emails. It’s the women, particularly the ones who know how to walk in platforms and whisper-sing about heartbreak in a club bathroom, that are keeping the genre alive. And what we saw at Wembley wasn’t just a surprise guest moment. It was a baton pass, a kiss of solidarity, a reminder that when women in music support each other, the world gets a little bit more iconic.

And if this is what Radical Optimism looks like, then we’re all-in. Manifest a studio version. Manifest a remix. Manifest a tour. Because Dua and Charli just reminded us that pop isn’t dead. It’s just finally getting fun again.

Let the girlies play.

Chicago’s Mayor Claps Back at Trump Deeming the City the Next ICE Target

[ad_1]

President  Donald  Trump is planning Immigration and Customs Enforcements (ICE) operations in some of the nation’s largest cities, including Chicago, which an unnamed Trump administration official told Rolling Stone “is next, if they go too far.” But the mayor of Chicago — one of the cities on Trump’s list — insists he isn’t having it.

AI Is the New Civil Rights Frontier: Loren Douglass on Wealth, Politics & Power

“Whatever is necessary…We should all be committed to doing just that,” Johnson said during a City Hall news conference Tuesday (June 17). “Whether it’s in the courts, whether it’s in the streets or with policy, we’re going to continue to defend and stand up for working people.”

Chicago has been on Trump’s radar for a while now with the president describing the city as a “war zone.” Last week the city’s officials confirmed Chicago is one of the places where Trump is sending ICE tactical teams.

Trump and his administration have praised the recent deployment of Marines and National Guard troops to Los Angeles as a model they intend to replicate in other cities, advancing the president’s anti-immigration and mass deportation agenda.

In a Truth Social post, Trump called on ICE to “expand efforts to detain and deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where Millions upon Millions of Illegal Aliens reside. These, and other such cities, are the core of the Democrat Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base, cheat in Elections, and grow the Welfare State, robbing good paying Jobs and Benefits from Hard Working American Citizens.”

City officials in Chicago are bracing for tense encounters with law enforcement amid heightened ICE and National Guard activity.

“There will be tactical teams, mini-tanks, other tools they use in which they plan to do raids, as we saw in Los Angeles,” the mayor’s chief of staff, Cristina Pacione-Zayas, told the media. “With arms, with also chemical agents, we have seen them in full riot gear. We have seen them fully concealed.”

However, Johnson defended the large number of Chicago residents who participated in a recent peaceful protest against what he described as “the authoritarian tactics of the Trump administration.”

Johnson emphasized that Trump’s efforts are not about improving Americans’ safety but rather advancing his mass deportation plans.

“Ripping families apart and disappearing people do not make our cities safer,” Johnson said to Rolling Stone. “These unconstitutional actions incite fear in our immigrant communities and cause more problems than they solve.”

He continued: “Chicagoans know that immigrants are a critical part of the rich social fabric of our city. We will always fight for the rights and dignity of all Chicagoans [and] continue to work with community-based organizations and legal groups to ensure that all Chicagoans know their rights.”

Jury awards $2.25 million to Georgia couple in suit over autopsy images of decapitated baby

[ad_1]

A jury has awarded a Georgia couple $2.25 million in their lawsuit accusing a pathologist of posting graphic videos of an autopsy of their decapitated baby.

A Fulton County jury returned the verdict against Dr. Jackson Gates on Wednesday. The couple, Jessica Ross and Treveon Isaiah Taylor Sr., hired Gates to perform an autopsy on their son, Treveon Taylor Jr., who was decapitated during delivery in July 2023.

They have separately sued the doctor who delivered the baby and the hospital where the delivery occurred. That case is pending.

In a lawsuit filed in September 2023, the couple said Gates posted several videos of the autopsy on Instagram without their permission. Gates initially removed the videos after receiving a letter from the couple’s attorneys, but then reposted them, according to the couple’s attorneys.

The war over federal troops in LA and the problem we all live with

Ira Livnat, an attorney for Gates, said Saturday the jury’s finding that Gates did not intend to cause harm “flies in the face” of the plaintiffs’ “entire case.”

His client generally made posts about autopsies to educate other pathologists and advocate for independent evaluations when people felt a hospital had engaged in wrongdoing, he said.

The couple received a default judgment for intentional infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy and fraud after Gates did not immediately respond to their lawsuit.

“Dr. Gates testified that he is deeply sorry for any harm that he unintentionally caused the plaintiffs,” Livnat said. “Had he known for one second that they would see that and that they would know it was their child, he would never have done it.”

Attorneys for the couple said in a statement that the doctor “poured salt into the couple’s already deep wounds.”

“This young couple trusted him with the remains of their precious baby,” they said. “Gates, in turn, repaid this trust by posting horrific images of their child for the world to see.”

Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc Teaser Just Rewrote the Game – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

As a Black man who grew up watching anime like it was Saturday morning gospel, Tokyo Revengers hit different from the jump. The time-leap storytelling. The fists full of heartbreak. The bonds between broken boys trying to find purpose in a world of pain. So when Liden Films dropped the first trailer for Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc, I felt that familiar flutter in my chest. You know the one, like your first anime crush just looked your way.

This isn’t just another arc. This is the moment we’ve been bracing for.

Senju Kawaragi Is That Girl and Mariya Ise Knows It

Senju Kawaragi, introduced with an aura that’s half divine, half deadly. She’s poised to shake the whole foundation of the Revengers universe, and she’s voiced by none other than Mariya Ise, the same queen behind Killua from Hunter x Hunter and Levy from Fairy Tail. Her casting is pure serotonin. Her character design is the kind that makes you pause, zoom in, and whisper “who is she?” like she just walked into the cookout with timbs and respect.

Mikey Breaks Us Again

We see it. The gang that gave us hope, heartbreak, and more fades to black as Mikey, the cold-eyed, soft-hearted king, announces the disbandment of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Bruh. That scene alone had me pacing like I just got dumped over text. The weight on Mikey’s shoulders is biblical, and his decision signals a massive turning point in the story.

This is no longer about gangs. It’s about legacy. About who survives when the dust settles and time stops being on your side.

The Final Revenge: Three Titans, One Future

The War of the Three Titans Arc thrusts us into a new age where three dominant factions fight for control. It’s the post-Tenjiku world, and every move matters. Takemichi (Take-Mitchy, our time-leaping ride-or-die) finally reaches a version of the future where Hina is alive. But someone else is missing.

This is the heartbreak Tokyo Revengers does so well. We win, but we bleed. We survive, but we lose something we can’t name. And as Take-Mitchy prepares for his final stand, you already know we’re riding with him. Rain or blood.

The Cast and Crew Are Certified Legends

This isn’t a game. With Maki Kodaira directing, Yasuyuki Muto holding down series composition, and Kenichi Onuki, Keiko Ota, Airi Tsuyuki, and Kanae Takakura bringing the characters to life, the animation is in the hands of people who truly care. Add in the music of Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and every frame becomes an emotional gut punch.

The core cast is still elite. Yuuki Shin as Takemichi. Yuu Hayashi as Mikey. Masaya Fukunishi as Draken. Azumi Waki as our ride-or-die Hina. But with Mariya Ise now in the mix, you just know Senju is about to be a fan-favorite and a major threat.

2026 Can’t Come Fast Enough

So now we wait. And not patiently.

Whether you’re a day-one Tokyo Revengers stan or just now catching up on the time-traveling chaos, War of the Three Titans promises to be the arc that redefines the series. The trailer didn’t just tease us. It told us to buckle up and prepare for emotional violence.

As a Black anime lover, I can say this: the streets needed this. The culture needed this. And my heart, though already bruised by all the heartbreak this series serves up, is wide open. Because that’s the beauty of Tokyo Revengers. It hurts so good, and we keep coming back.

Karoline Leavitt Responds to Jasmine Crockett Trump Supporters’ Attack

[ad_1]

We all know Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett is no stranger to beefing with President Donald Trump and his MAGA constituents. But now, it seems White House Secretary Karoline Leavitt wants the smoke too, and she has a thing, or two, to say about the Democrat.

Video will return here when scrolled back into view

AI Is the New Civil Rights Frontier: Loren Douglass on Wealth, Politics & Power

Crockett joined journalist Katie Couric for a one-on-one interview, and she did not hold back when it came down to Trump’s recent handling of the anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles. As we previously reported, Trump sent thousands of National Guard and Marine troops against California state’s orders. And Crockett said the move speaks to a bigger issue in the country.

“This idea that we don’t care how many people get hurt… thinking that you have your own special little army that’s for you,” the congresswoman began. “I mean it is just sick. And anybody that supports it is also sick,” Crockett said, referring to pro-Trump voters and politicians throughout the nation.

She added, “We’ve got a mental health crisis in this country because everyone– no matter how you affiliate yourself– should be against Trump.” Crockett, like other Democrats, have repeatedly called out Republicans for refusing to stand up to Trump’s blitz on diversity, Elon Musk’s role in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), tariff wars with our allies and everything else Trump has facilitated in his first six months back in office.

“This is not partisan,” she continued before saying she’d much rather have a “regular” Republican like former President George W. Bush instead of Trump. “Right now, we have someone that does not care and he’s been enabled,” Crockett concluded.

Well, word got back to Secretary Leavitt during a press conference in the White House. And to Crockett, she had a short, but loaded response. “It’s incredibly derogatory to accuse nearly 80 million Americans of mental illness,” Leavitt started.

“The last time I checked, Jasmine Crockett couldn’t dream of winning such a majority of the public as President Trump did,” she continued, before adding that Trump supporters are “forgotten men and women, business owners, law enforcement officers, nurses and teachers and Middle America.”

Leavitt even laughed at Crockett, saying if the congresswoman is a rising star in the Democratic party, then that’s only good news for Republicans. So far, the congresswoman hasn’t responded to Leavitt, but that doesn’t mean she’s not gearing up for the comeback of the century.

R. Kelly claims prison officials plotted to kill him. Judge denies his release

[ad_1]

A judge has denied singer R. Kelly ‘s request to be freed from prison, saying she lacks jurisdiction to consider the convicted sex offender’s allegations that federal prison officials plotted to murder him.

U.S. District Judge Martha M. Pacold canceled Friday’s scheduled arguments in Chicago, and instead issued a five-page ruling denying his emergency request to serve his time on home detention during a temporary furlough.

Born Robert Sylvester Kelly, the 58-year-old Grammy-winning R&B singer is serving sentences at a prison in Butner, North Carolina, for child sex crimes and racketeering.

Pacold noted that federal courts have only limited power in such cases, and one by one she examined and rejected various ways Kelly’s request could be considered.

Key moments from the sixth week of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking trial

“Jurisdictional limitations must be respected even where, as here, a litigant claims that the circumstances are extraordinary,” Pacold wrote. “Kelly has not identified (nor is the court aware of) any statute or rule that authorizes the court to exercise jurisdiction. Thus, the court cannot award relief in this case.”

Kelly claimed in a series of filings this month that prison officials solicited white supremacist leaders to kill him, to halt the disclosure of information damaging to prison officials.

Kelly’s attorney says he was then moved to solitary confinement and purposely given an overdose of medication, which required hospitalization and surgery for blood clots.

Pacold noted that Kelly offers no evidence to back up his claims. Government lawyers suggested Kelly had spun a “fanciful conspiracy.”

Known for such hits as “I Believe I Can Fly,” Kelly was found guilty in Chicago in 2022 of three charges of producing child sexual abuse images and three charges of enticement of minors for sex. In New York in 2021, he was found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking. He is serving most of his 20-year Chicago sentence and 30-year New York sentence simultaneously.

His appeals have been unsuccessful, including to the U.S. Supreme Court. Kelly has also sought President Donald Trump’s help.

Mia Khalifa Silently Drags Chris Brown Fans Dropping $1200 for Meet & Greet Pics – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

You ever see something so cringeworthy you can’t help but physically turn away from it, but before you do, screenshot it, share it with your group chat, and tweet a vague sub about it? That was the mood of the internet this week when Chris Brown’s infamous $1,200 meet-and-greet debacle made its ugly comeback. And to answer your question, yes, it’s just as crazy as you’d remember.

It was a viral tweet by X user @fearedbuck that lit the fire, tweeting: “Chris Brown’s $1,200 meet & greet photos on tour are officially back after this photo went viral ????.”The aforementioned photo? A supporter sitting right in Breezy’s lap like she just walked in for her shift at Club Delulu.

Naturally, the internet did what it does best: dragged, dissected, and devoured.

One of the quote tweets that had the girls gagging was merely, “paying 1.2k to meet a woman beater is just as bad as waiting in a bonnie blue line btw.” That ain’t shade. That’s a cold front.

But Mia Khalifa’s reaction was what really stole the show because sometimes the most savage diss is actually a whisper. No long ass notes app apology, no explainer thread, no ten-slide IG story. Just two words: “silent rt.

And that’s how you read with the aplomb of an old-school internet baddie, ladies and gentlemen.

Mia Khalifa, whose tongue is sharp and has no tolerance for male mediocrity, didn’t even have to say Chris Brown’s name to bod the entire thing. Let the quote tweet stand on its own and simply co-signed the sentiment with the energy of someone who’s been seen too much to be impressed with delusion anymore.

Let’s break it down real quick for those still clutching their VIP lanyards: $1,200 is a mortgage payment. It’s five Taylor Swift friendship bracelets and a Roth IRA. It’s a small vacation, or at least a week’s worth of groceries if you’re feeling generous with your oat milk budget. And yet, people are forking that over to cuddle up with a man whose public record looks like a Wikipedia page of red flags.

But hey, who needs dignity when you’ve got three seconds of thigh-to-thigh contact with 2010’s most problematic fave?

The math ain’t mathing, and Mia Khalifa just gave the quietest, most devastating “girl, be for real” in the history of internet side-eyes.

Moral of the story? Do what you please with your money, but don’t expect not to be taken aback when the net and Mia sees your photo and slaps it with the digital version of the raised eyebrow and a sip of wine. Silent, savage, and well-deserved.

Fat Joe Hype Man Accuses The Rapper of Sexual Relations With Underaged Girls

[ad_1]

Rapper Fat Joe is defending himself against some pretty disturbing allegations related to a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed in federal court by one of his former hype men. According to the $20 million suit filed by Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, the “Lean Back” rapper, born Joseph Cartagena, is being accused of having sexual relations with children who were as young as 15 and 16 years old.

Dixon claims in court documents obtained by PEOPLE that the 54-year-old “All the Way Up” artist, “engaged in coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation and psychological coercion.” He goes on to say he personally witnessed Joe’s involvement with several underage girls, including a young woman with whom he had a sexual relationship in exchange for money and payment of her cell phone bill and a 15-year-old girl he took on the road and “would put her up in a condo he rented a few blocks from his house with his wife,” according to additional reporting by The Daily Mail.

Along with his claims about Joe’s involvement with underage girls, Dixon’s suit also alleges the rapper forced him into over 4,000 sexual acts during their nearly 16-year working relationship in order “to maintain his standing within the Enterprise.”

Dixon, who says he was a “lyricist, background vocalist, security team member, and creative collaborator” for Fat Joe between 2006 and 2019, says he was also “consistently underpaid, denied songwriting credits and deliberately concealed from royalties and backend compensation” by the Bronx-born rapper.

But Joe is denying all of Dixon’s claims. His lawyer, Joe Tacopina told Page Six that Dixon is trying to use his suit as a form of public pressure against the rapper to force a financial settlement. Fat Joe filed a suit of his own, accusing Dixon and his attorney of defamation in April 2025.
