Gary Coleman’s Wife Fails Lie Detector Test About His 2010 Death

[ad_1]

After 15 years since child actor Gary Coleman was taken off of life support by his ex-wife Shannon Price, rumors and speculation surrounding his death have always drawn mixed reviews. Finally Price agreed to take a lie detector test, hoping to clear her name once and for all… but the results are in, and they’re not in her favor.

Trump’s Tariffs Might Stick Around. What Should We Buy Now?

The 42-year-old actor’s death was quickly ruled an accident after he suffered a major fall in his Utah home. At the time, Coleman and Price– now-39 years old– were divorced but still living together. But in the aftermath of the tragedy, many folks including Coleman’s own family and friends suspected Price wasn’t telling the entire truth.

A&E’s “Lie Detector: Truth or Deception” series aimed to get to the bottom of it all, but instead of clearing her name, Price’s results just raised even more questions. She was asked “Did you physically cause Gary’s fall?” In response, she said “no.” She was also asked, “Did you physically cause Gary to fall that day,” again responding “no.”

But according to the lie detector test, “The results are you failed that exam with deception indicated to those relevant questions,” the test administrator said in a clip from the show premiering on July 10. “You failed the exam regarding Gary’s fall.”

Immediately, Price claimed the results were “false,” maintaining her innocence in regards to her ex-husband’s death. She was also asked if she ever “struck” Coleman or withheld help from the “Diff’rent Strokes” actor. Her results came back inconclusive.

Coleman and Price got married in 2007 but divorced one year later. Two years after that, Coleman suffered an intracranial hemorrhage, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. Price was the only witness. The 911 call after Coleman’s fall drew side eyes as Price can be heard refusing to follow the operator’s instructions to administer help to Coleman.

He was eventually taken to a hospital and placed in a coma. Price pulled the plug just two days later, despite claims from Coleman’s ex-girlfriend, Anna Gray, who alleged he “had an advanced healthcare directive where he stated he wanted at least two weeks of care before any plugs were pulled.”

After failing the polygraph exam, Price told TMZ, “We were extremely disappointed with the overall experience of both the polygraph testing and dealing with A&E. Many promises were made and not kept.”

She continued, “The testing situation was unfair and very uncomfortable, and the testing was performed non-verbally — which I should have refused. From the beginning, it was apparent they cared more about ratings than finding the truth.” The full episode will air on A&E on July 10.

Inside the Plot: New Blood, Old Love, and a Monster-Sized Threat

In ZOMBIES 4, Zed and Addison’s long-awaited summer vacation detours into chaos when they stumble into a supernatural feud between Daywalkers and Vampires.

Acting as camp counselors, the pair tries to mediate peace between two leaders: radiant Daywalker Nova (Freya Skye) and brooding Vampire Victor (Malachi Barton). With help from returning fan-favorites Eliza (Kylee Russell) and Willa (Chandler Kinney), Zed and Addison must rally both sides before an ancient evil threatens to destroy everything.

The Legacy of ZOMBIES: Dominating the Youth Entertainment Arena

Since its debut in 2018, ZOMBIES has clawed its way to the top of the DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie) dynasty. The numbers don’t lie:

  • #1 cable telecast among kids and tweens for each of the first three films during their release years.

  • Nearly 250 million streaming hours and counting on Disney+.

  • Over 5.7 billion music streams across YouTube and Disney’s platforms.

  • ZOMBIES and ZOMBIES 3 topped the Billboard Top Kid Albums chart.

And it’s only just getting started.

Music, Merch & the Multi-Media Empire

On July 11, fans can get their claws on the “Music from ZOMBIES” vinyl album, a 1-LP green pressing featuring 12 of the franchise’s biggest anthems:

  • “We Own the Night”

  • “Call to the Wild”

  • “Someday”

  • “The Place to Be”

  • “Dream Come True”

  • “Don’t Mess With Us” (from ZOMBIES 4)

In tandem with the movie’s release, Disney will also roll out an all-new product line including apparel, accessories, costumes, and Mattel fashion dolls, further cementing ZOMBIES as a cross-platform phenomenon.

Tour Alert: Descendants/ZOMBIES: Worlds Collide Is Coming for You

This summer, the music comes alive in real time. The “Descendants/ZOMBIES: Worlds Collide Tour” will bring the hits of ZOMBIES 4 and Descendants to 43 arenas across North America, in what’s shaping up to be the most monster-packed, costume-heavy, scream-along event of the year.

The Bite That Keeps on Giving

With fangs, flair, and fanfare, ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires proves the franchise isn’t just alive it’s thriving. As Disney continues to merge its most iconic youth worlds and champion inclusive, genre-bending storytelling, Zombies stands tall as the rare franchise that keeps getting better, bigger, and bolder with every chapter.

And when the sun sets on premiere night, one thing’s for sure: the vampires may be new, but the ZOMBIES dynasty is eternal.

Cardi B spurs Stefon Diggs breakup rumors as she steps out during Paris Fashion Week holding a live crow

[ad_1]

Is something amiss between Cardi B and Stefon Diggs?

Just one month after the 32-year-old rapper and the 31-year-old NFL star made things Instagram official in a series of steamy PDA heavy pics snapped during a boat party, and just two weeks after the pair were posted up in a Parisian castle together, all of those initial photos are no longer visible on her page.

While Diggs’ post that includes a pic of the “WAP” rapper is still up on his page, it remains unclear what, if anything, has transpired.

Even though the couple didn’t make things Instagram official until early June, romance rumors about the two had begun circulating in late October 2024. The rumors persisted as they continued to be spotted together. After they made things official, the “Be Careful” performer sported a special manicure that spelled out her paramour’s name. She also addressed the ongoing drama between her and her ex-husband, Offset, by noting how happy she was finally.

Cardi B is living a fairytale dream in ‘real castle’ Stefon Diggs rented while in France

“Right now, I’m in a good space,” Cardi reported in early June on Twitter Spaces.  “Everything is lined up perfectly in my career. I love my kids. I love my kids. I love all three of my kids. They’re so beautiful. I love my kids. I love my life. I’m very happy right now. I haven’t been this happy in a very, very long time. I’m very happy.”

The curious switch-up arrived as Cardi B stepped out solo during Paris Fashion Week for the Schiaparelli fall 2025 couture show dressed in a dramatic look from the design house’s spring 2024 collection. She arrived on the steps for the show clad in a snatched velvet column dress with a generous scoop neckline and avant-garde tall shoulders. The whole look was draped in beaded fringe, and she accessorized the ensemble with a live raven perched on her velvet black-gloved hand.

“With my little friend Crowdi B,” the rapper captioned a video of the look on Instagram.

Fans will note that the gothic bird has become a recurring motif for the artist as she gears up for the release of her sophomore album, “Am I The Drama?” on September 19th.

Ash Kash Destroys Duke Dennis After Public Love Confession: “We Do Not Know Each Other” – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

The internet woke up to chaos after Twitch streamer and internet personality Duke Dennis posted and quickly deleted a tweet professing his love and eternal gratitude to Ash Kash, the social media star and OnlyFans model with a notoriously viral fanbase. What was meant to be a sentimental online moment turned into a public digital dramedy, with fans adding gasoline to the fire and Ash Kash delivering the final blow.

Let’s unpack the full timeline of this short-lived, deeply unserious heartbreak saga.

The Deleted Tweet Heard ‘Round the Internet

In the now-deleted post, Duke Dennis tagged Ash Kash directly and let his feelings fly:

“I miss you baby @/ash_kaashh ❤️🤞🏾 Through thick and thin you held me down. I love you 4L.”

No context. No warning. Just straight heart-on-his-sleeve, public yearning.

The tweet stayed up just long enough for the internet to collect their screenshots and get to work. Within minutes, reactions flooded X (formerly Twitter), and as expected, they did not disappoint.

The Timeline Got Diabolical FAST

Fans wasted no time turning Duke’s love letter into meme gold:

“I mean, you can’t get rid of your best true eater. I get it lmao”

“Having a man basically tell the world I’m a yamhead is in my top 3 phobias”

“Was this the punishment since he couldn’t eat the mayo sandwich? 😂”

“Saying I love you to Ash Kash is like saying I love you to a prostitute”

“Duke ain’t even write this gang 😂”

And then came the plot twist: Ash Kash responded.

Ash Kash Wields the Digital Guillotine

Rather than match Duke’s energy or offer a subtle reply, Ash swung the sword clean and cold:

“We do not know each other.”

Three words. That’s all it took. The timeline imploded.

This wasn’t just a curve it was a RKO outta nowhere.

The fans reacted exactly how you’d expect when a man publicly simps and gets emotionally body-slammed in front of millions:

“Lmaooaooaoao did that boy dirty 😭😭😭🤣”

“Me asf 😂😂😂😂 please don’t claim me in the public eye I do not know you”

“Duke Dennis deleted that tweet fast ash lol”

“This why u gotta stick with your queens”

“She 100% found out the backstory to this before posting, bet money 😂💰”

Receipts? AI? Gaslighting? It Gets Better.

In the wake of the chaos, one user tried to fact-check Ash’s denial by digging up an old photo of her and Duke Dennis allegedly on a date. The photo, which shows the two enjoying dinner together, reignited theories that the two had, in fact, been romantically involved perhaps on the low.

Ash shut that down with surgical precision:

“This AI.”

And just like that, even the photo got gaslit.

Ash Kash is now being hailed as the new face of “unbothered energy,” while Duke Dennis is the newest inductee in the Hall of Fame for Online Oversharing Gone Horribly Wrong.

What’s Happening to Diddy’s Fortune? Here’s What We Know

[ad_1]

Sean “Diddy” Combs was once regarded as one of the most influential figures in hip-hop history… but that was way before his federal trial and dozens of civil lawsuits. Now, as the disgraced businessman sits in a New York City jail cell with his reputation permanently stained, many are wondering what’s next for Diddy.

Video will return here when scrolled back into view

Trump’s Tariffs Might Stick Around. What Should We Buy Now?

Trump’s Tariffs Might Stick Around. What Should We Buy Now?

Namely, folks are wondering what will happen to all of his millions?

Less than a decade ago, Diddy was on the way to billionaire status, joining the likes of Rihanna and Jay-Z as self-made music moguls. The Bad Boy founder has had his hands in almost every business venture imaginable. From Cîroc liquor to his Sean John fashion imprint to his recent record label Love Records and extensive real estate portfolio, Diddy was seemingly on top of the world. But folks might be shocked to find out just how quickly his financial empire has come crashing down.

The 55-year-old’s net worth took a drastic dip since his incarceration. In 2018, Diddy was reportedly worth $825 million, on the way to billionaire status, according to Forbes. At the time, he beat out Dr. Dre and Drake for the no.2 spot on hip-hop’s wealthiest artists list. But after Casandra “Cassie” Ventura’s bombshell civil lawsuit against him in 2023, things took a never-before-seen turn for the worst.

Diddy settled Cassie’s suit for $20 million in less than 24 hours, but the bombshell filing only opened the floodgates for more alleged victims to file against him. Quickly, others came out of the woodworks, accusing the disgraced millionaire of rape, sexual abuse, kidnapping and more. As it stands, Diddy still is facing dozens of legal cases against him, which could start eating away at his millions.

To top to all off, hotel footage was leaked showing him kicking, beating and dragged Cassie in 2016. And after a sketchy apology video from Diddy and him stepping down as the chair of Revolt, it was clear his days as a financial powerhouse and respected mogul were numbered. In June 2024, Forbes estimated his net worth was cut in half, sitting at just $400 million.

It’s not shocking that this drop came in light of Diddy’s federal charges on racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and prostitution. On July 2, Diddy was acquitted on three of the five charges against him. Now, he’s facing a maximum 20 years in prison for facilitating the prostitution of his two ex-girlfriends.

After the split verdict, legal experts told USA Today Diddy will likely keep what’s left of his empire. This includes his houses, cars and additional business entities. But had he been found guilty of violating the RICO, it would’ve been another story. “The government overreached. They wanted a RICO conviction so they could then go seize [Diddy’s] assets under RICO forfeiture laws,” civil trial lawyer David Ring told the outlet.

“Thats not going to happen now,” Ring continued. “Instead, he likely serves a couple years in prison and returns to his business empire.” If the government still wants to go after Diddy’s assets, they would have to prove his wealth directly furthered the two cases of prostitution he was found guilty of.

Combs currently owns mansions in Los Angeles and Miami, a Gulfstream G550 jet worth more than $25 million, Bad Boy Records, at least 20 luxury cars, an extensive art collection and more, according to reports. But already, he’s been making efforts to downsize, including trying to sell off his LA mansion.

Diddy still has a long way to go towards freedom. He will remain behind bars until his original Oct. 3 sentencing date.

Judge Joe Brown promotes conspiracy theory about why Trump is withholding Jeffrey Epstein files

[ad_1]

Former TV Judge Joe Brown is backing up a conspiracy theory as to why President Donald Trump and his administration may be withholding key evidence in classified files about the convicted pedophile.

“I have a sneaking suspicion that when the investigations are completed and they’re solid, we’re going to start seeing something come out of it,” Brown told far-right radio host and personality Alex Jones.

On Tuesday, President Trump expressed annoyance during a White House Cabinet meeting when asked by a reporter to respond to growing conspiracy theories surrounding the classified files of Epstein’s federal sex trafficking conviction and subsequent prison suicide.

Despite his documented friendship with Epstein over the years, Trump blasted the late Epstein as a “creep” and suggested there were more serious national topics to discuss, including the recent flooding in Texas that killed more than 100 people.

“Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years…are people still talking about this guy?” said Trump, who added, “That is unbelievable.”

The conviction and death of Epstein have become a larger-than-life phenomenon, particularly among far-right and conservative voices, including some elected officials and online platforms. Various conspiracies have emerged as a result of the convicted pedophile’s case, including the existence of a “client list” with high-profile individuals.

Among Trump’s MAGA world, unverifiable conspiracy theories spread like wildfire online over the years, largely targeting Democratic figures like former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Bill Clinton and Trump, among others, have been connected to the well-connected wealthy financier over the years; they’ve been mentioned in court filings and photographed with him in various social settings.

Cardi B spurs Stefon Diggs breakup rumors as she steps out during Paris Fashion Week holding a live crow

In 2019, during his first term, Trump helped to spread conspiracies about the Clintons when he retweeted a post accusing them of being clients of Epstein’s sex trafficking network of recruiting minor girls for sex and being responsible for his death. Though Epstein died by suicide (he hanged himself in a New York City jail), some conspiracists believe he was murdered and that his prison death was staged to look like a suicide.

Since Trump returned to office in January, many conservative voices expressed anticipation for the release of federal files on Epstein, hoping to feed various conspiracies of a cover-up to protect the rich and powerful. On Monday, the Department of Justice and the FBI concluded that soon-to-be-released footage confirms there was no foul play in Epstein’s death and that there is no known “client” list of powerful figures he was believed to have blackmailed.

Judge Brown joined Jones in peddling more conspiracies after the DOJ memo. When Jones asked Brown if he thought Trump was shielding the public release of certain key information in the Epstein files in an attempt to delay a larger plan to blackmail or expose what they call the “deep state,” which includes agents within federal intelligence agencies like the CIA.

“The best approximation I’ve got–and it is speculation by a lot of points–is that Trump has decided to just use the file against them,” said Jones, seemingly referring to conspiracies that Epstein was a spy.

Judge Brown appeared to agree, telling Jones that he believes it is connected to the 2022 FBI raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida and the subsequent criminal charge against him related to retaining classified documents.

“My sneaking suspicion is that a lot of what he refused to turn over to the archivist…is that there was wrongdoing; that if he turned it over to the archivist, it was going to be turned over to the people who were recorded doing wrong,” said Brown, who defended Trump’s retaining of classified documents post-presidency as his constitutional authority.

Brown said that if it got into the wrong hands, the alleged federal workers would destroy it.

“So we had an obligation to the people to maintain control of that, which he did,” the judge said of Trumo. “I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. It has been dropped. It’s dead. It’s not there. But he knows that, and I have a sneaking suspicion that when the investigations are completed and they’re solid, we’re going to start seeing something come out of it.”

Some MAGA supporters are frustrated by the Trump administration’s inaction on the Epstein files, particularly considering that Trump’s FBI Director, Kash Patel, and Deputy Director Dan Bongino supported conspiracies about Epstein before entering office.

Princess Tiana’s story comes to life in new traveling Disney exhibit, launched at exclusive brunch during Essence Festival

Despite telling Fox News that Epstein’s so-called client list was “sitting on my desk” back in February, and that she was prepared to publicly release it, Attorney General Pam Bondi told reporters on Tuesday that she was actually referring broadly to the Epstein files, and not a specific client list.

The DOJ memo debunking the existence of the client list comes after former Trump advisor and friend, billionaire Elon Musk, suggested Trump was named in the files.

During Musk’s very public fight with Trump online, he wrote on X, “That is the real reason they have not been released.” Days later, Musk deleted the post. However, on Tuesday, Musk returned to critiquing Trump over the Epstein files.

“How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won’t release the Epstein files?” he wrote on X. Musk indicated that he would make the public release of the Epstein files a major priority for his proposed third political party, called “American Party.”

“A Sorority Mom’s Guide to Rush”: Lifetime’s Next Reality TV Obsession is Here, and It’s Giving Designer Bows, Tears, and Generational Drama – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

Lifetime has just dropped a bombshell that’s going to leave TikTok reeling and college towns in their Jack Rogers. The network has greenlighted A Sorority Mom’s Guide to Rush (working title), a hot new unscripted reality series that dives head-first into the über-competitive, high-gloss, and sometimes hysterical world of Sorority Rush. And here’s the twist: it’s not about the girls. It’s about their moms. Yes, the moms are featured.

In association with VICE Studios, the producers of the campus cultural phenomenon Bama Rush, the new Lifetime series is providing its audience with back-row seating to the golden field of Greek Life recruitment and revealing the flawlessly manicured claws sharpened by the risk of legacy, prestige, and aesthetic Instagram sensibilities.

Welcome to the War of the Women: Rush Week, Reimagined

Each one-hour episode of A Sorority Mom’s Guide to Rush will take viewers into the zany, emotionally charged, and extremely expensive world of sorority rush, as seen through the eyes of daughters and the mothers living vicariously (and over-the-top) through them. Helicopter parenting collides with reality show glamour with a pinch of Southern Gothic soap opera.

Whether it’s coordinating Pinterest-perfect OOTDs, filling duffel bags with monogrammed towels and bedding, or hiring private Rush consultants (yep, that’s a real thing), these families do whatever it takes to lock down a precious bid from their ideal sorority. And let’s face it, some of these ladies clearly aren’t ready to pass the crown on just yet.

And, as would be the case with Lifetime, they will be watching the girls move into dorms, sprinting in and out of labyrinths of mixers and interviews, and negotiating the emotional rollercoaster that is Rush Week while mothers pull on strings, sweep tears away, and yes, sometimes lose their ever-loving minds.

This new franchise isn’t just riding on the viral wave of #BamaRush. It’s betting everything. At the time of writing in May 2023, the TikTok hashtag has earned a staggering 2.6 billion views, making the University of Alabama’s recruitment week a top-tier media event. Imagine sparkly dresses, scripted Southern hospitality, Greek letter sweatshirts, and thousands of teens streaming every emotional breakdown live.

“The sensational success of our documentary feature Bama Rush raised massive global interest across TikTok and multiple social media outlets,” said Danny Gabai, Co-President of VICE Studios. “Our new reality series delves even deeper into the incredible value that the sorority legacy holds in the lives of many young women and their families, particularly when viewed through the unique mom and daughter lens.”

This time, we’re not just watching the girls cry in bathrooms. We’re seeing their moms cry with them, coach them through awkward small talk, and strategize which house to target based on vibes, vibes, and more vibes.

Who Is This Really For: The Daughters or Their Moms?

For Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP and Head of Programming for Lifetime, A&E, and LMN, the program is able to tap into the cross-generational appeal of Greek culture and the emotional connection that it holds for so many families.

“I remember what it was like when I rushed in college,” said Bryant. “Now, as my own daughter is about to embark on her freshman year and rush herself, I know how deeply important this rite of passage is for many young women. This show is a peek into the fascinating rush process and will engage those who are going after Greek life or not.”

But don’t be fooled. A Sorority Mom’s Guide to Rush is more than a documentary. It’s a low-key savage, high-drama reality show in which pearls aren’t just a wardrobe staple, but armor. From families greasing palms to get into legacy houses to wardrobe budgets that could fund bridal showers, the question isn’t always “Who’s getting a bid?” It’s “Who’s calling the shots?”

Spoiler alert. It’s not always the daughters.

The Power Players Behind the Scenes

Produced by VICE Studios in association with GroupM Motion Entertainment, the series has with it a heavy list of executive producers including Danny Gabai, Lauren Terp, Andrew Freston (VICE), Richard Foster and Chet Fenster (GroupM), and Brandon Wilson. The Lifetime camp brings in Brie Miranda Bryant and Nicole Vogel to cast their storytelling spell on the show.

With this dynamo under the hood, viewers may expect a high-gloss, emotionally intense ride full of glitter, gossip, and intergenerational warfare. That’s Dance Moms, minus pirouetting and plus Greek letters.

Premiering on Lifetime and Your FYP

A Sorority Mom’s Guide to Rush will arrive on screens later this year, its trailer release all but certain to spin #RushTok into circles.

Expect viral moments, confessional breakdowns that descend into sniffling TED Talks, and moments so absurd you’ll be questioning whether you’re watching The Real Housewives of Panhellenic Row. Pledged or not, one thing’s for sure. The stakes are higher than they’ve ever been, the outfits are adorbs, and the moms? Well. The moms are ready to Rush.

Lifetime. VICE Studios. Greek life. Mayhem. Let the games begin.

Tina Knowles Claps Back at Haters Over National Anthem at Cowboy Carter Tour

[ad_1]

Tina Knowles is no stranger to hopping on social media and letting her fans and followers know how she feels or what she’s thinking. But one of her latest posts is dedicated setting some haters straight when it comes to her daughter’s current tour.

Video will return here when scrolled back into view

Trump’s Tariffs Might Stick Around. What Should We Buy Now?

Trump’s Tariffs Might Stick Around. What Should We Buy Now?

As we’ve told you, Beyonce has been performing all over the world as a part of her “Cowboy Carter” tour and a major part of her set includes her singing the Star-Spangled Banner. However, as clips of her performing it landed on social media, a handful of folks have taken issue with it and questioning why she’d choose to sing a song that’s not truly reflective of the Black American experience and has racist undertones.

Enter Miss Tina on Monday (July 7). In a lengthy post to Instagram — in which she reposted a video of a Black woman breaking down a different yet significant moment of the tour — Knowles made it abundantly clear she was tired of the ignorance and haters when it came to her daughter’s specific rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner.”

Explaining the Black historical reference behind the national anthem, she wrote:

“Did you know that the Star-Spangled Banner that she sings in the show is the rendition done by Jimi Hendrix so many years ago , and that it ends with her lyric , ‘I was only waiting for the moment to be free.’ Identifying words go up on the screen that says ‘never ask for something that is already yours.’
It is truly a bold true statement.”

Knowles continued: “But still there are those who just don’t get it and are still asking ‘why is she singing the national anthem?’ The concert starts off with ‘American Requiem’ which, if you listen to the lyrics is a tribute to what this country was built on the backs of black and brown people. Please take a listen.”

She went on to express how she sometimes feels discouraged because all the work and research that she and her daughter and their team does goes unnoticed and unrecognized, but she was happy that more people are starting to put the clues together.

Knowles also ended her post on somewhat of a hopeful note, saying that one day people will look back on the concert and understand the symbolism and messaging and intent behind it all.

“The hating, the jealousy, the criticizing , the lies , the stupid rumors from people who know nothing about you , seem to be less important this morning. Maybe not now , but one day, our kids and grandkids will look back at this concert,” she explained. “Listen to this record and realize all that went into it. They will quote the lyrics and feel a sense of immense pride. ‘Those big ideas are buried here.’ Aaaaaaamennnnn!!!!!”

Dr. Heavenly Kimes from ‘Married to Medicine’ is running to be a Georgia state representative

[ad_1]

From reality television to political office? Dr. Heavenly Kimes is using her knowledge and experience as a mother, dentist, entrepreneur, and community advocate to bring change to Georgia politics—or at least that’s her goal. This week, Kimes, who fans know as Dr. Heavenly on Bravo’s “Married to Medicine,”  announced her plans to run on the Democratic ticket for Georgia State Representative in District 93.

“I’ve spent my life helping people build confidence, start businesses, and take control of their futures,” Kimes said, per People magazine. “Now I’m bringing that same passion to the State Capitol. District 93 deserves someone who’s not just talking, but doing.”

Kimes’ campaign centers on five key issues she’s passionate about after years of working with patients: healthcare access, economic prosperity, education reform, and small business support. To help her manage her political journey, Kimes has hired fellow “Married to Medicine” co-star, Quad Webb, as her campaign manager.

Target partners with Kai Cenat but continues to sidestep demands for justice from the Black community

“Our people deserve real representation, someone who understands both the struggles and the solutions,” she explained. “I’m not a career politician. I’m a mom, a doctor, a business owner — and I’m not afraid to stand up for what I believe in. I’m running to serve, and I’m ready to work.”

The “Married to Medicine” star plans to kick off her campaign today with a rally outside the Georgia State Capitol in downtown Atlanta at 5 p.m. While her candidacy may come as a surprise to some viewers, she would not be the first Bravo star to run for office. In 2021, “Real Housewives of New York City” friend of the cast Barbara Kavovit ran for NYC mayor. Meanwhile, former “Southern Charm” cast member Thomas Ravenel announced his plans to enter the race for Governor of South Carolina in 2026. And most famously, President Donald Trump hosted and executive produced the reality series “The Apprentice.”

While filming for season 12 of “Married to Medicine” has started, only time will tell if the show plans to show Dr. Heavenly’s campaign for office.

“This is bigger than me — it’s about US. Our families. Our businesses. Our health. Our future. And yes, I’m bringing that same bold energy from “Married to Medicine” straight to the State Capitol,” Kimes captioned an Instagram post about the news. “Let’s show Georgia what real leadership looks like — from a woman who’s BUILT something, EMPLOYS people, and knows what it takes to fight for the community.

Lana Del Rey Speaks Out: “I Pray for Palestine Every Day” – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

Lana Del Rey is adding her voice to one of the most emotionally charged and world-divisive issues of our time: the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In an emotional and truthfully raw statement being shared online, the Grammy-nominated artist confirmed she “prays every day” for Palestine and spoke in deep anguish of the conflict raging within the land. Her statements come amid mounting international calls for another ceasefire and lasting peace.

“Of Course We Pray for Palestine Every Day”

Del Rey, whose dark, Americana-tinged record catalog typically explores matters of loveliness, tragedy, and moral complexity, didn’t use any words. In her single, she wrote:

“And yes, of course, we pray for Palestine every day. I wish for peace between all nations and am constantly upon all of the news between the Israel Palestine conflict. I was very hopeful when we were getting close to a peace treaty. And that was my greatest wish as I’ve watched the news unfold from afar.”

It’s an honest, unfiltered admission from a global superstar in an industry where political expression, especially about Middle Eastern affairs, is considered career suicide. The danger of celebrity activism on this front has silenced many, but Del Rey is cutting through the caution tape.

A Personal Truth Amid Global Tragedy

Acknowledging the ethical and linguistic tightrope of speaking about such a polarizing subject, the artist added:

“It’s always difficult to watch any innocent victims killed by crimes of war. There is never a good way of wording things that will make all people happy, but that is my personal truth.”

Del Rey’s words give you a glimpse into an inner conflict that many of us across the globe experience: How do you speak of justice, bereavement, and geopolitically terrorized fear without offending or alienating? Her answer: tell the truth, even though it is not perfect.

A Long-Standing Interest In The Issue

Where some would view her comments as relevant or performative, Del Rey made clear that her interest in the war is longstanding and not recent:

“Politically, I do keep up and have been very much hoping for ceasefire. This is a long ongoing conflict and one I’ve studied hard to understand.”

She repeated that this isn’t a temporary trend or virtue signaling moment on social media. In her view, the conflict is something she lives with each day, not just on a news ticker, but in conversation and decision-making:

“It’s a topic of conversation in many of my daily conversations, and we’re constantly considering what we can do to contribute in all situations like this. I always have been.”

A Celebrity Voice in a Fractured Cultural Landscape

Del Rey’s message arrives at a moment when the cultural world remains so divided about how to discuss the Israel-Palestine conflict. There are certain celebrities, like Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid, who have come out strongly for Palestine and been attacked and admired as a result. Others have been attacked for not speaking up, or for making non-committal “both sides” statements that offend nobody.

Del Rey‘s remarks seem to take another angle: compassionate, politically aware, and based on personal opinion rather than corporate PR.

Rather than the artist’s mention of “crimes of war,” her hope for a ceasefire, and her repeated focus on innocent victims resonate with a feeling shared by the human rights organizations and much of the international community. More than 40,000 civilians have been killed since the start of the current phase of the war at the end of 2023, including thousands of children, according to a May 2025 United Nations report. Appeals for a ceasefire continue to echo from Geneva to Washington D.C., yet concrete progress remains elusive.

It’s Not Just a Moment, But a Moral Stand

Whereas Lana Del Rey’s songs are likely to indulge in dreamy nostalgia, her place here is one of material modern horror and political intelligibility. She is not longing for peace in some amorphous sense. She’s watching, reading, praying, and most importantly, she’s engaged.

“There hasn’t been a way to find some resolution,” she said. “It’s heartbreaking and unfathomable.”
