Matt Webster Faces Backlash for Snapping Kid’s Fishing Pole in Viral Video – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

An online video featuring Matt Webster snapping a young boy’s fishing pole has sparked widespread backlash. The video, which quickly went viral on social media, captures a tense exchange between Webster and a group of kids fishing on what he claimed was private property.

The video begins with a child, visibly upset, saying, “Yo, don’t touch my rod, don’t touch my rod.” Webster retorts, “Trespassing on private property. You’re trespassing on private property, young man.” The child responds by stating, “We’re waiting for the police to come.” Webster dismissively replies, “Wait for the police here.”

As the exchange continues, the child accuses Webster of threatening to throw their phone into the lake, to which Webster responds, “Young man, you want that phone to go in the lake? Back away from out here, boys. Walk out.”

The confrontation escalates when the child threatens to press charges against Webster for breaking his fishing rod. Webster scoffs, “Press charges for what? Assault? What for? Assault? Yeah, I’m not assaulting you. Get out of here.” The child calmly responds, “We’re just going to wait. We’re not going to mess with anything.”

Despite the child’s attempts to de-escalate the situation, Webster insists they will be prosecuted for fishing on private property. The video ends with tensions still high and no resolution in sight.

Authorities have yet to comment on the incident or any potential legal consequences for either party involved.

Eddie Murphy ‘Cool With Son Dating Martin Lawrence’s Daughter

[ad_1]

Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence are comedy legends who’ve worked together on classics like “Boomerang” and “Life.” Now, there’s a chance those won’t be their only notable collaborations.

America’s Funniest Home Videos’ Alfonso Ribeiro Plays That’s So Random

Eddie’s oldest son Eric Murphy is currently dating Martin’s oldest daughter Jasmine. The relationship has led to several humorous quips about the couple’s possible future.

“They’re both beautiful, they look amazing together — and it’s funny, everybody’s like, ‘What is that baby gonna be funny?’” Murphy told “CBS Mornings.” “Our gene pool is gonna make this funny baby.”

He added: “If they ever get married and have a child, I am expecting the child to be funny.”

Everyone slow down! They’re just dating, so relax on the baby talk. However, it’s gotta be a relief for them to know that their families get along. The “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” star explained that when he and his old friend found out about their kids dating, “We just was like, ‘It’s cool.’ Yeah, it was cool. We thought it was cool.”

As “cool” as everything is right now, there does seem to be a possible sticking point in the future. If Eric and Jasmine go the distance, Martin is already jockeying to get the “Shrek” star to pay for the wedding.

“I’m gonna try to get Eddie to pay for it,” he told Jimmy Kimmel in 2022.

As you would imagine, this didn’t go over well with Eddie, who responded to ETalk, saying, “No, no, no, no, no. That’s not how it goes. My daughter just got married, and I had to pay. I really had to pay. And you have to do the same, Martin. Don’t try to switch it up, don’t try to change no shit, do no Hollywood switch. You’re paying for the wedding. If it goes down, Martin is paying. And the wedding better be wonderful.”

We’re not trying to put any extra pressure on these kids, but if there is a wedding, please make it into a reality show. Grumpy old men Eddie and Martin planning their kids’ wedding sounds hilarious.

Reality Star Keke Jabbar’s Death at 42 Shocks Fans and Industry – Where Is The Buzz

[ad_1]

The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of reality star Keke Jabbar, who passed away at the age of 42. Known for her role in “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” Jabbar’s unexpected death has left fans and colleagues in shock.

Close friend and YouTuber JoAnn Jenkins, who had a close relationship with Jabbar, spoke out to dispel rumors surrounding the cause of death. According to the New York Post, Jenkins addressed the speculations during a YouTube livestream on Wednesday night.

“Keke did not overdose, Keke did not take her own life. Keke loved life. Keke was not ready to leave life. She wasn’t ready to leave her children, her husband, or her family,” Jenkins stated emphatically.

Jenkins elaborated that Jabbar had a tendency to fall asleep unexpectedly and often “go to sleep wherever.” She recounted that Jabbar decided to rest in her car after encountering an issue with it. Tragically, this decision led to her death.

“So, seven-something this morning, her husband goes to the garage,” Jenkins continued. “He sees Keke, what he thinks is asleep in the car. He tries to get her attention. He opens [the car] up. She isn’t breathing,” she explained. “Her husband, her life partner, her best friend tried to bring his wife back, the mother of his children, and he couldn’t. Keke passed from carbon monoxide poisoning. That’s it. That is all,” she added.

The initial announcement of Jabbar’s death came from blogger Marcella Speaks, who read a statement from Jabbar’s family on Tuesday. “It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keke. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love,” Speaks conveyed during a YouTube livestream. “She was a mom, a sister, and a great friend full of life, love, and laughter.”

The family has requested privacy during this difficult time. “She will be sorely missed, and at this time, we are asking for respect and privacy in our moment of grief while we process this great loss,” the statement read. “The Jabbar Family and the Scott Family.”

Keke Jabbar’s vibrant presence and contributions to reality television will be remembered by many, and her loved ones and fans alike deeply feel her loss.

The son of Denzel Washington shows he’s made his own strides toward success without relying solely on the family name, thanks to his impressive talent. He was a record-breaking football player in college and later played in the NFL for two years. It was a few years after his football career ended that he decided to follow in the footsteps of his father, continuing their legacy of famous Black male actors.

He technically got his first role at 8 years old — a single line in Spike Lee’s “Malcolm X” — but Washington was 31 when he really started his acting career. He was a regular on the HBO show “Ballers,” though it wasn’t until 2017 that he was cast in his breakout role as Ron Stallworth in “BlacKkKlansman.” This earned him a nod from the Golden Globes, and he won the Breakout Star award from the IMDb STARmeter Awards.

In the days leading up to the video’s release, a photo of Kendrick with his fiancée Whitney Alford and their two children began circulating online. This image spurred rumors that the typically private Alford would make a cameo in the video. True to speculation, Whitney appears in the video, dancing alongside Kendrick and their children in a touching display of family unity.

Whitney Alford’s public appearances have been rare, but she was recently seen attending Lamar’s “The Pop Out: Ken and Friends” concert in Los Angeles with their children. These appearances come in the wake of Drake’s allegations of physical abuse towards Alford in his track “Family Matters,” claims which he reiterated in “The Heart Part 6,” asserting that “everything in my shit is facts.”

The “Not Like Us” video showcases Kendrick Lamar’s artistic vision and serves as a platform for addressing personal controversies and reaffirming his commitment to his family. Fans and critics alike are sure to dissect every frame of the video, seeking to understand the deeper narrative Lamar continues to weave through his music and visuals.

10 ways to turn cookout leftovers into a culinary feast

[ad_1]

July 4 means family, cookouts, and… leftovers. Lots of leftovers.

Leading up to Independence Day, how to grill hamburgers, beef hot dogs and salmon were among the most searched Google keywords. Yet, in the days that follow, that extra food often goes to waste because, according to one survey, two in five Americans don’t like leftovers.

There’s an easy solution: Repurpose leftovers into a new and pleasing meal. It’s easier than you think; here are 10 ways you can revive cookout leftovers.

Hot dogs

Admittedly, hot dogs are easy; all you need to do is gently reheat them and put them in a fresh bun — but you don’t have to stick with the status quo. Instead, try this:

Hot dogs and baked beans: Baked beans always gain more flavor with a sausage of some type. Polish and Italian sausages are great, and so are brats. However, hot dogs make baked beans just as tasty. Yes, canned baked beans are easy, but take them to the next level by taking a minute to make your own. You can find easy baked bean recipes like this one, or take pinto beans and add your favorite BBQ sauce. Slice up the hot dogs and bake with the beans. If you like heat, add some jalapenos or your favorite hot sauce. Serve with any extra bread.

Cheesy croissant hot dogs: This recipe, riffing on the classic “pigs in a blanket,” is as easy as it gets. Get a can of croissant dough, which, when unrolled, separates into eight portions. Take one piece of the dough and sprinkle it with your favorite cheese. Then, wrap the hot dog in the dough. Some 15 minutes later, you’ll have a delicious hot dog wrapped in a nicely browned and flakey crust. Dip in spicy brown mustard, ketchup, or your favorite sauce.

Grilled Cheese Dogs: Yes, really. It’s a marriage between a crispy, delicious grilled cheese and a hot dog. Assemble the grilled cheese as you normally would. Slice the hot dog lengthwise and then widthwise, giving you four pieces. Add the hot dog to the sandwich and cook until browned. TIP: Most people use butter or margarine to spread on the bread when making grilled cheese. Try mayonnaise instead. It has a higher heat point, crisps better, and doesn’t leave an oily flavor.

Burgers

Unlike hot dogs, burgers can be miserably bad the next day. After sitting in the refrigerator overnight, they turn into hard cylindrical objects that, if dropped on a foot, can likely break a toe. But there’s no need to discard them; save your meat and money by trying any of the following instead.

Sloppy Joes. Sloppy Joes don’t get the respect they deserve. They’re meaty, saucy, tasty concoctions that should be a lunch or dinner staple. Take those leftover burger patties and dice them up. Add an easy Sloppy Joe sauce and let it simmer until the sauce makes the meat nice and soft. (Yes, you can use a store-bought canned version.) Serve on a bun, and done.

Meat sauce for pasta: Chop up your burgers along with an onion, garlic and green pepper. Pour in your favorite pasta sauce and let simmer for at least an hour. (How much sauce you need depends on the amount of leftovers you have.) By then, the sauce should be infused with the flavor of the now-softened meat, and dinner is served.

Meaty Mac and Cheese: For this homemade take on Hamburger Helper to work, you’ll need a saucy mac and cheese that coats the meat. Chop the burgers and then add them to your favorite mac and cheese recipe. Make sure the meat is thoroughly incorporated and covered with sauce. If you’re inclined, you can add breadcrumbs and brown until the broiler, or do the stove-top method; either works well.

Salmon

Salmon provides the best option for a fancier meal. With some clever remixes, your guests won’t even know they’re eating leftovers.

Risotto: Arborio rice — which you need to make risotto — might be the best rice dish around. It’s time-consuming, but the combination of cooking it in a vegetable or chicken stock results in a fragrant and delicious meal. It’s even better after adding the leftover salmon. If you really want to kick it up, add peas, mushrooms and shrimp, and you have a to-die-for seafood risotto.

Creamy Spinach Salmon: Add one bunch of spinach to a pan and wilt. Add a little vegetable stock, then butter, garlic and cream. Stir together, add the salmon until it’s heated through, and your guests will wonder when you went to culinary school. Serve over rice or linguine.

Salmon Patties. Talk about versatile…Use your hands to break up the leftover salmon in a bowl. Add breadcrumbs, eggs, salt and pepper, and mix. Add into pan over low heat until crunchy on the outside and heated through. You can eat these alongside eggs for breakfast, as a sandwich, with a salad, or atop vegetables.

A Killer Combo

Sloppy Joe Dogs with New York onions. If you’re a meat lover, this will make your mouth water from the time you start putting it together. Make your Sloppy Joes using your leftover burgers. Make hot dog onions, a specialty that is very popular at New York’s famous hotdog carts. Heat your leftover hotdogs, place them in buns, and top with the Sloppy Joes and onions. It’s a sloppy mess — and worth every tasty bite.

Diddy Subject of Federal Investigation and Named in New Lawsuit

[ad_1]

Despite how quiet Sean “Diddy” Combs has been recently, his legal troubles will continue to be loud. Along with being notified by federal authorities last week that he is the subject of a criminal investigation, Diddy has also been named in a new lawsuit that claims he trafficked a woman for years during his infamous all-white parties.

Susan Heyward on Season Four of ‘The Boys’

Adria English, a former adult film actress, filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday, alleging that Diddy hired her to work at several of his all-white parties over the years in Miami, New York, and the Hamptons. In each instance she was invited, English claims that she was “forced” to take part in sex work, according to ABC News.

She adds that she was forced to take drugs while at these parties and drink liquor that was laced with ecstasy. This led to English being unable to recall some details from some of the parties.

In the lawsuit, English says that she “has lived her adult life with the memories of being trapped in a cycle of sex trafficking she never asked to be a part of and was chosen because Defendant Combs knew he could groom her.”

English also names Bad Boy Entertainment Holdings, Inc., Vibe Magazine, and Penske Media Corporation, claiming that they helped organize said white parties.

In a statement to ABC News, Jonathan Davis, Diddy’s attorney, said “No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof.”

“Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court.”

While Diddy was notified that he is the subject of a federal criminal investigation in the Southern District of New York, there has been no indication that charges will be leveled against him, according to NBC News.

The U.S. attorney’s office has yet to speak publicly about the investigation.

The revelation about the investigation comes nearly four months after Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles homes were raided by federal authorities in connection to an alleged sex trafficking invesigation.

Clyburn’s discussion of a ‘mini-primary’ fuels more Biden angst

[ad_1]

NEW YORK (AP) — He is often credited as the man who delivered the Democratic nomination to Joe Biden with a pivotal endorsement four years ago.

But on Wednesday, Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., sent a resounding message to the president and elected officials across the nation that it may be time to move on.

Clyburn, a Biden campaign co-chair, outlined a process to replace Biden during an interview with CNN. Should Biden step aside, Clyburn said, he expects a “mini-primary” featuring Vice President Kamala Harris, governors and others in the run-up to the Democratic National Convention in August.

“You can actually fashion the process that’s already in place to make it a mini-primary and I would support that,” said Clyburn, who also spoke to Biden on Wednesday in a conversation his office refused to discuss.

Clyburn’s decision to spell out in detail how Biden might be replaced was viewed as a clarion call by some top donors, party insiders and even members of Biden’s campaign who increasingly believe that the 81-year-old president will be forced to step aside following a debate performance that shook the party’s confidence in his ability to defeat Republican former President Donald Trump in November.

The extraordinary remarks echoed throughout the private conversations of donors, Democratic National Committee members and even Biden’s campaign staff, according to multiple participants who spoke on the condition of anonymity to share sensitive discussions. In response to Clyburn’s latest comments, at least one member of Biden’s finance committee predicted that the president would not survive the political crisis.

Indeed, the conversation among many insiders has begun to shift from whether Biden should stay in the race to the logistics of his departure.

Clyburn spokesperson Brianna Frias later clarified that he was responding to a hypothetical question and not trying to restart the nomination contest.

“He was not calling for a ‘mini primary,’” Frias said. ”Instead, he was explaining the existing process. The congressman fully supports this president at the top of the ticket and it would be irresponsible to report anything otherwise.”

A significant group of party insiders wants the incumbent president to stay in the race, believing he remains the party’s best hope to defeat Trump.

“I’m for Joe Biden. I encourage Joe Biden to continue to run for president and I believe that he will be reelected,” said Dick Harpootlian, a South Carolina state senator and Biden supporter. “Even in this weakened condition, I do believe he will beat Donald Trump.”

Clyburn’s comment came a day after former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent shockwaves across the party by raising questions about Biden’s fitness to serve. “It’s a legitimate question to say, is this an episode or is this a condition?” Pelosi said on MSNBC.

Biden vowed on Wednesday to stay in the race.

“I am running. I am the leader of the Democratic Party. No one is pushing me out,” Biden said in a call with staffers on his reelection campaign, according to a top aide who posted his comment on the X social media platform.

Privately, however, Biden’s allies shared increasing concern that he would undermine their chances to win the House and the Senate if he’s on the ballot this fall. And top donors fear that Biden’s fundraising, while strong in June, will slow considerably this month, especially among high-dollar donors.

New polling also shows warning signs.

Trump had a slight lead over Biden in two polls of voters conducted after the debate. But one of the polls — conducted by SSRS for CNN — found that three-quarters of voters, including more than half of Democratic voters, said the party has a better chance of winning the presidency in November with a candidate other than Biden.

Around 7 in 10 voters — and 45% of Democrats — said that Biden’s physical and mental ability is a reason to vote against him.

Meanwhile, an increasing number of Democratic officials believe that Harris should be the favorite to replace Biden. Those involved in private discussions also acknowledge that California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer remain viable alternatives.

But for some insiders, Harris is viewed as the only nominee who would quickly unify the party and avoid a messy and divisive convention fight.

Clyburn, who described Biden’s debate performance as “concerning,” said in a MSNBC interview on Tuesday that he would support Harris if Biden were to step aside.

“This party should not in any way do anything to work around Ms. Harris,” Clyburn said. “We should do everything we can to bolster her whether she’s in second place or at the top of the ticket.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign cheered on the Democratic dysfunction in a statement predicting victory.

“President Trump will beat any Democrat on Nov. 5 because he has a proven record and an agenda to Make America Great Again,” said senior advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles.
